Not Sprint. Its a scam.

I just noticed that reports date all the way back to 2007 and 2008!  Jeez these guys have  been at this for years.
This number called me twice in a row. Left the same recording on my voice mail both times abiut my account being suspended for verification. To reactivate my account press 1.  Then the message abruptly ends.

Its bs. Its a scam. How it works i dont know but thats not a sprint call.

For what it's worth ive been with sprint for almost 20 years and while i dont like the changes theyve made in the last few years im still comfortable enough
with their service to stick around. Im sorry to hear of all the frustrating situations some people have experienced with them.

Scammers are well known to spoof the numbers of service providers to make their scams more believable.  They will ask for information such as your PIN them add expensive devices to your account and run up huge bills, they may even deactivate your devices and change your PIN.  Best to call Sprint on a known customer service number to report the scam and verify your account is in good standing.

8882774742 FAKE SPRINT CALL. The recording stated that my account had been" shut off". Then the recording preceded to prompt me to regain service: " For Account information press 1", and so on... VERRY SNEAKY!! My account is totally fine. It wanted all my payment information- exactly the way a phone company would for a payment. USE EXTREME CAUTION!

I don’t have a Sprint account , never did so to my surprise the “Sprint” agent needed my personal info. Kuddos to the Scammer for spoofing Sprints number. What total jerks

I see a lot of "Sprint" on these complaints. They just got through to my cell and left a voicemail (sadly, the OS on my current Android does not support "Mr. Number", which was the BEST free app I've ever used, on my Galaxy S5,.....sigh...).  I let it go to voice mail.  The initial part was cut out, so I do not know that they're claiming to be Sprint, but it said "Press ___ to claim your reward." I was a Sprint customer previously, but switched to Verizon years ago.
I'm guessing, from what I can see in these reports, that Sprint's customer service number is being spoofed. Poetic justice?

What does that mean?

Voicemail was left. If you want to receive your reward press 1, If you want to decline press 0. Computer voice. SCAM! Blocked.

THIS HAS TO STOP IF IS GOING ON SINCE 2007

Same can be said about useless posts that don't help anyone.

"....Loyalty and forbidden with our company for more than 24 months Sprint have select you to receive $50 gift card to be delivered to your mailing address by the next two weeks. If you want to receive your reward, please press one or to decline, press zero."

But scammers can fake the caller ID of any person or business, and if they happened to choose a Sprint number, there is nothing anyone can do but share the experience.

I received a call from this number and an automated message said my Sprint account was suspended, since I know my Sprint bill is up today I hanged up and contacted Speint directly and they confirmed my account was not suspended.

Calls from this number are scam!!!

It was a scammer pretending to be Sprint.  A robot woman said they would give me a $50 gift card for being a Sprint customer for 24 months.  I hung up.

Said Verizon and service cut off. Push 1 to talk to someone.

Very interesting.  I’ve had my suspicions about Sprint as well.

They called at 11:00 pm, I didn’t answer, but as soon as I called it back and it was Sprint, I realized it had to be someone who hijacked Sprint’s number.

Called told me cell account was suspended. Identified as themselves as Verizon.
