Received another call from UPG about a payday loan, when I asked her for the information in writing the person on the line was very rude and wouldn't let me speak, her name was PATRICIA RAY from UPG. I told her I checked with my bank and I had no deposits around that time frame. She would only send it to me by email, I told her I wanted in the mail not email with the company name and account info and she refused. The scary thing is she had my social, my address, where i worked everything. Unreal.

These people called me too regarding a payday loan they said I took out in 2011.  I was as polite as polite could get.  She wasn't mean or anything like that.  SO...on with the story.  She said my loan I had was in 2011 and I had made payments but then stopped.  During that time, I did take a couple loans because of a BAD TIME I was having at that particular period.  I still have the list of the people I did the loans from and this one that she mentioned was not on the list.  SO, she told me that she would have their department send something via email.  (Well that won't really work because I want to see my signature).  I thanked her for calling me and bringing this matter to my attention but that I wanted the time to actually verify that this was a loan that I actually took.  I asked her, would you pay for something from 4 years ago that you don't remember taking?  She agreed and the call ended.  Lets see where it goes from here.  I'll keep you all posted on this.  Just remember, do not EVER give any information on yourself to these people.  If they ask you, and they say its

They have important information i.e. s.s. number, previous address. Claim I took an on-line loan with them in 2012 which I didn't. WhenI told them, I don't know what they are talking about, they responded "Good luck to you then" and hung up on me.

So I have yet to receive anything from them.  I called and did talk to someone from the states....BUT...I think I've learned their tactic...They knew my name from the number then the guy goes, I will transfer you.  WELL...guess what....they transferred me to I'm sure someone in India....Woman was hard to understand and long pauses between statements which means it was an overseas call.  OK...so I tell the lady that I went to speak to a lawyer and he stated that the original forms must accompany a document sent to my home.  I told her...I will PAY you if I have ANY outstanding debt so to make you understand...I am not refusing the debt...I just want something in writing that I actually took this loan.  OK...so she tells me that she doesn't have where the original loan came from.  She doesn't have the paperwork.  I said, well, we better hold off on anything then until we can come up with the original paperwork on I will have to take you to court for not following the proper practices that we have set up in the UNITED STATES.  She disconnected me and the original person got back on the line.  I said, sweetheart, I am telling you that I will GLADLY pay you if you can provide PROOF of this debt which is what I'm entitled to.  I said otherwise, this sounds like a HUGE scam.  I stated if I cannot get any documents then please do not contact me further or to please take me to court.  I stated to her that if she took me to court, they would be paying me LOTS AND LOTS  of money.  PEOPLE.....do not follow through with these people.  They are scammers.  We all run into problems but I wish to GOD I never took out the 1 payday loan I did.  I have had nothing but problems from it.  KEEP PRESSING THEM FOR PAPERWORK...PAPERWORK...PAPERWORK...PAPERWORK!!!  They will not be able to provide it to you and THEY MUST!  Don't let these individuals intimidate you.  Get your legal facts and shoot them down with them.  The more they hear this and the more people don't pay them...they more these people will go out of business.

Received unanimous message on voice mail to call this number.  Stating to call 866-445-4701 regarding a claim against a family member.  Very vague and unable to verify legitimate request.

Scam caller.  Called and said I would be charged with theft by deception.  Called my sister and my teenage daughter.  Called me and my daughter again today but claim they didn't...oh really?  So my phone companies (landlines and cell) are lying?  I don't think so.  I told them they were breaking federal law and to knock it off and hung up on them.  By the way, I don't owe anything to an online company.

Had a message left no my mother in laws answer machine from 888-214-3992,the message sounded recorded not even a live person...So I called was only on the phone for 52sec before the lady hung up on me after i stated to her to send me proof of this so called payday loan...called a second time 40seconds,third 25seconds,and before the third person hung up stated They are coming for you! called a fourth time and no answer....I'd say about 6 months ago i received a simular phone call from a different company called Oakwood services stating the same thing 804-420-4838,thats when i called my bank and received from them all my deposits from the month they stated that i took a payday loan..What i don't like is the fact that they stated the name of my bank,a job i had worked 8 yrs ago an address lived at 10yrs ago but took the loan out in 2011 how does any of this make sense?

"Amanda Miller" answered when I called back regarding a voice mail I had received for my ex-husband with a claim number. I told her to remove my phone number because this person is no longer in my life. She told me I will no longer receive calls from their company, so we shall see if that is indeed the case!

yes they keep calling for my ex-husband's mistress name. I've repeatedly told them she doesn't live here  so I'm not sure how this connection was established unless she is giving out my number as her own.  I've blocked the number also but they keep calling from other numbers (888) 214-3992 or (866)446-0645; now Purple Heart.  I don't owe a dime to anyone.

This number calls my cell phone at least five times a day.  My home phone daily. Now they are bothering family members leaving messages that they are looking for me.  Not only is this annoying but when they involve other people it becomes an embarrassment especially when the call is unfounded and untrue.  I do not owe any payday loan money or am I delinquent in any of my finances.  These companies need to be stopped.
