unknown caller....beware

claimed to be verifying info from social security # for a court case

This number contacted my ex-wife in another state...looking for me...saying they were from Dayton, Montgomery County, Oh court...with a case #....when I called they answered, Legal Department...and wouldn't tell me legal department to what? I called them on being a scam and hung up.

Called an uncle that I haven't called or seen in awhile..had a case number but only wanted personal info

Wanted personal info. Asked the person how much is owed he said he didn’t understand my question. Lol what a joke. They are scammers.

Claims to be Amazon customer service and is calling about a charge.

Ladies' voice Olivia. Call stated a charge of $449.99 was made on my Amazon account with order number ending in 26878.  Said if I don't recognize that order call this 888 number.  The number the caller was using showed up as 213 892 1049.  It is a scam!

Claimed to be Amazon Fraud Prevention.  Contacted Amazon and they said. this was a scam

Wanting to verify amazon purchase. Did not call back after checking who the # belonged to.

Got the exact same call.  Same numbers even.

recorded call from "Lisa" at Amazon wanting to confirm a purchase.  bogus.  we very rarely buy on Amazon

Caller stated I had made an Amazon purchase for $499.95.  If it wasn't a real charge, call this number to reach the Amazon fraud line.

Message from Amazon.com stating I had made a purchase of $449.99 using card ending in 2678. Call this number if not correct. Checked my orders. No such thing or card number.

not the first time we received a call with a callback number of 888 214 5653, this time claiming to be about an Amazon order.

I just got the same call on my answering machine.  I am going to ignore it.

The number they called from to me is 985-532-9991.  I didn't take the bait.

Call stated a charge of $449.99 was made on my Amazon account with order number ending in 26878.  Said if I don't recognize that order call  Amazon Fraud Prevention at  888 214-5653 number.  The number the caller was using showed up as 919 462-0061 from Cary NC.  It is a phishing attempt!

Got the same message of but from a different incoming caller ID 801-742-2222  that I'm sure was a Masked ID.  Caller left same message: "Ladies' voice Olivia. Call stated a charge of $449.99 was made on my Amazon account with order number ending in 26878. Call 888-214-5653

this number reported amazon purchase and to call 888-214-5653 if not valid!
