Got this text message:

“ Shipping error for package #[remove by me] not able to deliver please call 1-888-214-6825 Stop to Stop Notifications”

The disturbing part is that I do have an expensive package coming in from China (AliExpress) that has to clear customs and I signed up for text motivations from FedEx. It’s like they knew that somehow.

Problems delivering package,hell I've not ordered anything to be delivered, even if I was I'm home all day and shouldn't be a problem...total scam and you shouldn't call the number, they want your social and banking information, needless to say they didn't stay on the phone with me long... lol

Nah, they're just playing the odds. With so many people staying home & ordering on-line, the probability they would reach someone who is expecting a delivery is high.

Just recieved same message

Received a text from them saying they were unable to deliver a pkg. I'm expecting a pkg so I called back - on line a short time - they hung up!

I just got the same message, I had a feeling it would be a scam.

I received the same message and later on, another indicating that the person was Steve. I replied asking what company the person was from...no reply.

Received a text about an issue with delivering a package, knew it was a scam and blocked number.
