It is a scam. looking for personal information stating you have a student loan that needs forgiveness.

Hi this is _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _ following up on your earlier request to be if I would've it's your loan forgiveness programs and potential of _⁠_⁠_ a payment options _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ Tuesday, January 28 and the reason for my call is that we were never able to reach you to complete the application _ can do so we just have to close it out this point so happy _⁠_⁠_ like to proceed please give me a call back no later than the end of business today even if you don't wanna pursue it further so we can make a note in our records and stop _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ you can reach us at 888-231-1249 until 6 PM Pacific standard time I'm not available you can speak to any of the other counselors in the office and they should be able to help you I just _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ thanks and have a great day…”

Called twice and left this same voicemail not even a minute apart. Said his name is Noah and the numbers I got calls from are 567-234-7324 (OH)  and 219-351-1823 (IL).

Caller left message saying they were returning my call about applying for student loan forgiveness (I don’t have student debt). Also mentioned finishing an application (which I never started). Said I must call back today, even to tell them I am not interested.

They don't pick up the phone.  It's a scam.  Don't return the phone call. They want to see how much you owe.

Total Scam.  Do not reply

Same experience as all of you and several others in multiple sites such as this one. They used a number from Ohio for me, but other people have received calls from all other the country. Definitely a scam. Don’t bothering calling back.

I got a call with the same voicemail, completely scripted.  Caller said his name was Justin.  No company name and I never applied for loan forgiveness.  Glad I saw these comments before returning the call.

Thank you for taking the time to transcribe the voicemail you were left.  It matched mine perfectly.  This was really helpful and will hopefully benefit many others receiving the same unwanted call.

I got the exact same scripted voicemail as shown above. I have applied for loan forgiveness recently which made me almost call back and give them my info. But they never mentioned my loan company so I searched the phone number and sure enough it sounds like a scam. If you call back a robot starts asking you how much you owe.

I got the same call with the same script and googled it assuming it was a scam (because I do have student loans and would love to pay less but I’m pretty sure the government is not calling with these kinds of offers haha)! Ignore or block if you receive it!

Got a call from them, Have student loans. I did in fact submit Public Service Loan Forgiveness paperwork. Contacted my actual loan servicer, they had no record of this call ever being placed. SCAM

Same as others here.  Some guy calling himself Justin saying that I never finished an application for loan forgiveness. I have never contacted any loan counselor or loan forgiveness company.  SCAM.

This is the exact message I received today. I called back to find out what this is about. Once I started to dig down and ask more questions about how they got my number and who they are, they said they had to go... hung up on me. SCAM! TELL THEM NOTHING ABOUT YOU! NO PERSONAL DETAILS.

I have a student loan but I haven’t apply for any kind of forgiveness program.
