- JI received same as everyone. cut off at beginning, no name of company, something about calling back before 6:00pm pst, but the caller called at 6:44pst so not sure why he was calling after hours if he was supposed to be out of office. lol. the actual number that called was 775-490-9310 and they requested that i call 888-231-7089.
- Nope, not gonna get it.This is a debt collection company. I had a student loan YEARS ago and the school closed taking our money. lawsuits and decisions later the debt was forgiven by the loan company. Different collections buy the old loan/paper over the years thinking they MIGHT be able to get someone to pay.

- MissySpoofed from a 302 391 1472 number at 9pm 2/21/20. Left A purposefully partial voicemail Starting with “...will have to just close out the account...” not identifying self or what kind of account BUT instructing to call before 6pm that day (I guess I’ll need to use my time turner in order to do just that). Instructed either he, The Unnamed, or “any other counselors” could help. Left 888 231 7089 call back number.

- Jerry SIt is definitely a sophisticated Robo caller, that is a pre-recorded message that sounds very lifelike on my voicemail. It’s for a phony student loan debt forgiveness program - Student loan debt is the one kind of debt that can never be discharged in bankruptcy so clearly it’s a fake scam program. Also I have no student loan debt so I would never end up on a list to be called in the case that this was a real program. Clearly a scam 100% scam scam scam scam. I don’t know if I’ve made myself clear or not this is a scam. Thanks for listening

- Cinnamon replies to chelseaSame thing with me, damn scammers.... I ignore it
- Saba replies to GaryI received the same voice mail but my call id said the call was coming from Plymouth, MI. When I called back they asked me multiple questions regarding the amount of money I make and if I still owe student loans. Then they hung up the phone really quickly.
- KWSame as all the others. Student loan forgiveness program. Very rushed voicemail. Didn't address me by name. I don't have student loans. Clearly a scam. Blocked number (along with the other 6 numbers I've blocked before noon TODAY)
- DonnaXavier Yusk calling from Student Loan Forgiveness. I've never had a student loan and they didn't mention my name. He said that they were going to close my account by 6:00 p.m. But they still wanted me to call back to stop the calls which makes absolutely no sense.
Definitely a scam.- Caller: Xavier Yusk from Student Loan Forgiveness (scam)

- MPhone call came through from a 918 area code number, voicemail left from a 912 area code with directions to call back this 888 number. Same vague line about my interest in a student loan forgiveness program. I hope whoever still has student loans is savvy enough to know this is *definitely* a phishing scam. I guess “Adrian” is just going to have to “close it out” since I won’t be calling back before 6pm today. Phone didn’t actually ring as the call flashed on my screen and immediately ended before I could reject it.
- Caller: “Adrian”

- jammingrammieVoicemail had a man’s voice , speaking fast and couldn’t hear his name, like he deliberately tried to hide it and he said something about getting me in to fill out paperwork and if not by 6pm tonight, they would have to close it out. The # that showed up was registered to OK tat office, but the # told to call back led me here. Has to be a scam to re-route from one # to another!!

- RayNumber that called in different from the number that appears on voicemail. Voicemail said something about student loan forgiveness but i don't have a single student loan as i never went to college.

- BethSame as others. Came in as 302-391-1471 in missed calls. In my messages number was 301-605-1274. Said to call back 888-605-1274. First part cut off, call back by 5 or they'd close out the application.

- jammingrammieI reported on here yesterday, the same story as everyone else. Didn’t get the name yesterday, but the # on caller I.D. was from OK, but told to call this number.. Today, voicemail caught his name.. Adrian.. I haven’t applied for anything , other than forgiveness because I‘be been disabled and unable to work since 2008.. applied directly to Dept of Ed. and of course denied . lacked 4 work credits & I’m married. It’s been over 4 yrs since I applied for that and haven’t responded to ANY student loan assistance programs since. The Dept. of Ed. has been taking my husband’s tax refund, so I haven’t done anything or requested anything . Like others here have said, he didn’t even mention my name or the company he is with, on voicemail. I checked with the Dept. of Ed. to see if the number fit and they said if it was them, they would identify as such. This time, caller ID said 774-413-6097, a Florida #, but again gave this number to call back my 6pm or account would be closed out. What also got me was that he said we’ve tried to contact you to complete the application I started, which NEVER happened. This is a nuisance, especially since I only sleep 15-20 hrs a week, if I’m lucky and they always seem to call, when my body actually feels like it could sleep! Therefore, another day and night with no sleep😄😡🤬Sick and tired of these calls.. don’t know what to do, when I block them and they just call from another bogus number. In my report yesterday, I noted that the call came from an OK #, that said OK tag office, when I looked it up... HAS to be a SCAM!!

- LindaSomething about application, but have filed no application for anything. Other commenters mention student loan forgiveness. Both our student loans have been paid off for almost 50 years.
- Caller: Not identified
- Toni replies to GaryI received a voicemail from the same type of call that you described in your post. Annoying and unsettling.
