- SueA man named Adrian left a message on Feb. 28, 2020. He left a message about my student loan application for forgiveness. I have not applied for a forgiveness.

- CatSame experience as others, couldn't understand what "Adrian" said as to what the call was about - listened to v.m. several times and caught the "studentloanforgiveness" < said VERY fast. Last student loan I had was back in 1975, and LONG ago paid off. <eyeroll> Sad thing is, they wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't working for them, so somebody is getting hooked and jacked. You will never find these scammers, either. These are robocalls from burn phones, and unfortunately easy to do it you know how. Suspect they are farming for tel. numbers to sell to other scammers. NO amount of laws will be able to stop them, and if you call their number YOU have them permission to call you again and again and again. Sad, but true.

- Richard ThompsonThe call from 520-645-1433 came from a scam student-loan refinancing business called the Student Loan Processing Center LLC, 19800 MacArthur Blvd #300 Irvine, CA 92614. The straight-to-voicemail prerecorded message went like this and mentioned the call-back number 888-231-7089:
"Hi! Sorry I missed you. Just following up on an earlier request to be evaluated for a student loan forgiveness program and lower monthly payment options. It's currently Wednesday February 26th. And the reason for my call is we were never able to reach you to complete the application, uh, and if we can't do so, we will just have to close it out. So either way you want to proceed, please let me know before the end of business today even if you don't want to pursue it further so at least we can make a note in our records and stop the calls. You can reach us at 888-231-7089 until 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. If I'm not available when you call, you can speak with any of the other loan counselors in the office and they can help you out just the same. Thanks and have a great day."
I never "completed the application" with them because I never started one. That's a lie typical of this place. They have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau:

- KevinI called the number multiple times, as many others said they spoke really fast. When I tried to ask questions I would get hung up on. At least 10 times. I finally spoke to someone who didn’t hang up immediately, but said I was probably hung up on because of the questions. If it was a legit organization, they certainly would not hang up on potential customer total scam. We’re in lock down Because of COVID-19, so I’ll just keep calling and wasting their time since I’m not allowed out. Some of you will say well it’s their job, well their company did them a disservice by not teaching basic customer service. And like others they call From a different number, they use fake local numbers to trick you into anything. If it sounds too good to be true it’s a scam
