They call repeatedly all day and late evening, I listed my number on their do not call list, yet the calls persist. No one speaks when I answer the phone, it's really irritating. Has anyone had any luck getting rid of them.

are you still getting calls from the 888 no?  I had a few days this week with only one call, now it is back to 3 so far today, I have tried everything how about you

I get the Same 3-10 times per day. the address comes back to the following companies: "THE LAND OF THE FREE" "WORLD OF VIDEO AND AUDIO" "INGLES SIN BARRERAS" "Efx" "STATE OF THE ART HISPANIC CALL CENTER" AND "WILSHIRE STAGES" This sounds like those poor hard working people that deserve AMNISTY.

OK folks, I went to the site listed below and found some really good info on how to combat this. Basically the squeaky wheel wins. California states they take this CRIME seriously. I spoke with LAPD and they said I should file a report for all of us with Las Vegas PD and I will do this. My feeling as a retired Law Enforcement Officer is that more local police departments forwarding complaints to LAPD the better. The name of the Company is "Lexicon aka: Ingles Sin Barreras" 640 S San Vicente BLVD Los Angeles CA 90048. There other agencies that could and should be contacted. I am preparing a report that includes all your comments and any other complaints I find on the internet. Additionally there is another Lexicon owned company located at 640 s San Vicente Los Angeles CA 90048 by the name of  “ State of the Art Hispanic Call Center”  I tried calling and was cussed out in Spanish and hung up on.

I to have been receiving calls from them. It's a new home number {with qwest} that they call. They say nothing to me, they just hang on the line. Very aggravating to me as what a phone line costs now, and they're using it to create this aggravation for me.  We need to find them and shut them down! I'd be interested in knowing how it is that they come up with these {our phone numbers} numbers to call. Do we have something in common? New listings, an affiliation with certain companies, or some sort of a list that is compiled from what? I'm at the point that I've started contemplating blowing out their eardrums with an air horn or something.

today is 6/27, 2007 and finally no calls today, I reported them to the FCC after reading all the messages, I also reported it to the do not call, the LA police dept  I believe the FCC may have finally got them to stop.

good luck everyone should keep trying I know it takes time, it took me at least 1 1/2 months to get the phone to stop keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't start up again.

I am currently receiving up to 10 calls per day from this number.  The phone rings & no one answers if I pick up.  The calls are coming in @ all hours of the day & is very annoying.  I am registered on the do-not-call list & attempted to file a complaint.  However, I received a response indicating that the number I complained about is not registered???  This harrassment needs to stop.

this number keeps calling my daughter's cell phone.  she doesn't answer because she doesn't know who is calling.  I have a real problem with this because she is a minor.  I would really like to know who is harassing her.

Yes, that number has been calling me 5 times EVERYDAY.. I registered donotcall.gov and guess what?  I will have to report it in 31 days AFTER i register.  Isn't that lame?

same number that called my cell for 1 1/2 months ending in May, started calling again today at 4:41pm some guy kept saying this is Roberto who I immediately told I did not care what his name was to stop calling my number immediately since they had worn it out by calling for 1 1/2 months already.
why is someone not tracking these people down and doing anything.  All the FCC does is keep emailing forms to fill out (same ones that were filled out at least 3 times) I gave up before but looks like I am going to have the same thing again and no help from anyone since no one did anything before, guess this spot just gives a place to blow off steam.

i read your message and I hope that you can do something.  These calls are making a lot of people crazy.  my stopped after 1 1/2 mos and started again today.  they are calling on my cell phone and my cell and reg phone are both listed on the do not call list, i tried to file with the FCC the FBI the police department in the area where the company has an address and I only kept getting the same form back from the FCC saying they needed more information.  I will check the address you listed thanks

Calls started today -  phone and leaves no message. Sure wish I could block them

I reported to the Attorney General of California on Aug 1, and got a response back from the AG on Aug 4.
Don't know if this will behoove them to stop, but we shall see. Verizon said they could not block but would change my phone number for me. No charge but the aggrevation of changing numbers.
So much for the usefulness of the donotcall registry.

Received a call on my new cell # from these guys yesterday at 12:13pm Central time.  Didn't answer it, they just left a Voice mail with background noise in the background.

I began recvg calls from this # on my cell (I'm in Georgia) about a week ago; sometimes there are three at a time, one right after the other and several during the day.  I plugged into Google to find out who it is and found all these messages and see the last post was in June.  This is end of August.  These people are crazy, but there's got to be a way they're targeting specific #s.  It's irritating, to say the least, that the calls cannot be blocked or stopped by the law.  Scary.

Well, today I just started receiving these (I'm in Miami, FL) and I decided to google the number and you guys came up. I was going to call back but after reading I'd rather not. hope theres some sort of solution to this. its kinda frustrating.

I picked up when they called again. A man speaking spanish picked up and asked for Nicole. I said that there was no Nicole, He had the wrong number. He asked me what was my number, I told Him I didnt know who he was and I wasn't going to give him my number. He said, he knows but he just wanted to confirm my number and began saying some numbers, I told him that, that is not my number and that I wasn't going to give it to him. He insisted, I told him Thank You (dont know why) and hung up. My number is registered on the donotcall.gov site and filed a complaint, so I hope to get answers soon
