1-888-231-7557 Caller ID lists Maria Gonzales. I have no clue as to WHY they called. Neither do thay since they decided to NOT leave a message.

Called my cell phone today at 2:32 PM (EST), February 1, 2010.  Answered after three rings.  They hung up immediately.

this 888 number calls me all the time and when i answer the phone and let them know they have the wrong number they hang up quickly without giving me the chance to ask them not to call again. so i've called them back and left numerous messages asking them to take my number off their list. they still call back. its so annoying

LOL!  Call the number that's calling and leave your full name and number so they can remove you from their call list.  LMAO!!

That's like replying to spam from the same email address you're getting spam, requesting they opt you out of their mass mailings.

In other words, you're just confirming there's someone at the other end so they'll just keep sending you their junk.

Similarly, leaving your name and number confirms you and your number exist and the calls just keep on coming.

i just got my first phone call fromthis number today and all i heard was back ground noises

I recieve so many calls from this number a day that its ridiculous. Today they even called the house at 10:50pm. This is extremely rude and distasteful.

Yeah some guy with a heavy Mexican accent called me today. Couldn't understand what he said so I said "wrong number". He paused and replied "Wrong number? Sorry."

Exact thing happening here! They are a spanish speaking company that sells a program to help learn English!

This number is calling my cell phone. I don't know what they are saying, but they keep calling. I don't know how to get rid of them.

They call at least 10 times a day this is unacceptable.

Left a brief message, came up as Luis Castro on magicjack caller ID.

This number currently belongs to Survival Auto Insurance.  I initiated a business relationship with them a few months back, and they called me today about a business matter.  I didn't recognize the number because they don't usually call me from that number, but they left a voicemail message.

I don’t know how they got my cell phone number but someone has been calling several times since 12/20/12.  I do not speak Spanish and I told them “do not call me”.  I’ve received at least 8 calls since then and it uses up my minutes when I answer the call.  There was another call this morning.  I do not have an unlimited number of minutes to use and this is costing me money.  

I sent an email to their "Do Not Call" address.  Since they are a member of the Better Business Bureau, I hope they are responsible enough to do this.

I have no idea how they got my number but they are persistent. I don't pick up nor will I call them back. That'll only make them see that my numbers valid and the calls will increase. I reported them but I see that hasn't done any good. Did anyone have any luck pressing charges?? It's obnoxious to say the least.
