I know this much ... they're not at 1900 Empire Blvd, #252 in Webster NY which is the UPS store where they rent a mailbox, located in the Baytown Shopping Center. This particular UPS store offers mail forwarding services, so it stands to reason that mail received there is very likely forwarded to another location, which may very well be where they're actually operating from. Obviously they want to obscure their actual whereabouts - too many people (including me!) want a piece of them...

Got another call from Moreno and Woods and thought I would share. My attorney said if we were to file a lawsuit against these so-called collectors I would actually have to pay the fees because we would never collect based on the fact they are illegitimate (My attorney looked up the address and yes it is a UPS store). Anyhow, a "Mr Reynolds-Investigator" called and spoke with my fiance and my mother telling them I needed to contact him by a certain date or I would be facing a lawsuit. This was over a month ago and I am still waiting on that lawsuit to be filed. You would think they would learn who not to call after they threaten a law suit and get no response. I was a victim of credit fraud and have dealt with legitimate collection agencies and although most are not very pleasant they do provide you with documentation when requested because they are required by law to do so. I hope this forum helps others to not be intimidated by these type of people and to know you have rights as a consumer.

I did not have to recieve a call from them to see what goes on on this immature blog by self-absorbed idiots.... do any of the people on this farce of a blog know what they are talking about??? really??? I would love to know... and for those who don't becareful of the frauds that say they do... I say this because they are known as professional debtors.... they defraud the system and figure out how to avoid getting in trouble... actually I also looked up Moreno and Woods, and funny thing is is because of an account on my credit report... in fact this office is more professional then some i have dealt with.... but i love how people sit on these stupid things and bash debt collectors... LOL... you are so funny... i now know what simple minded people do with their time.  for people who talk big on here explain how they faked a debt? oh and did you realize that some of the debts that are collected are from banks that bought out smaller banks... and sometimes those banks do not record that debt because they place it collection agencies, unfortunatly some times the debts are bought by brokerage firms who work with attorneys... do all the smart people in the room know what happens then??? let me explain cuz i am trying to dig myself out of this hole.... They then order all the original media ( apps and paperwork signed by all of us intelligent individuals) and they take it to court, and guess what then a judgement is placed against us and do you know what happens then well hey depending on the state you live in the possibilities are endless... so i am only warning the few intelligent people on here who don't know the ins and outs of being in debt... don't always listen to the idiots who are soooo filled with knowledge...

and to the guy known as (xxx) you are a real dumby.... you are special.... due to the fact that they don't serve you with arrest warrants... they can serve you with court summons which can be served by any sherrif or court appointed individual.  All they need to do is have the information and documentation on file and ready to go to court... you would really be suprised what the "low lifes of debt collection" can do these days.  But think about it if it weren't for professional debtors (idiots) like you we would never have to deal with them... there would be no need for them... but hey as long as you keep not paying your debts and bills and keep getting credit cards and loans and letting them go unpaid.... they will always have a job... infact if you can read, its one of the fastest growing industries...

Well, i never had a debt, period. The info they tried to tell me was false . The credit card company never issued that card. They dont issue a number like that. I caught them in a lie. Now i will continue discrediting them and harassing them . I am getting to know who these people are. I know two have criminal backgrounds. They are not professional. How about Russell Webb, Brewer-Michaels-Caine, 888-774-1338.  Except Russell Webb doesn't answer. Joe somebody did (no company name).  Wanted my name and the "case number" I had been given on my voice mail.  Asked me if I was calling on behalf of myself.  Weird thing is they left my ex-spouse's name on the voice message saying the case was related to him.  While I was on hold I found this thread so I hung up.  Warning!

I got a call from Moreno and Woods citing an credit card balance from 6 or so years ago that needs to be settled or I would be served with court papers, arrested, etc. Well I fell for it. They gave me a payment schedule for the next couple of months. Through my bank account, they deducted 300 bucks last Friday and 500 is scheduled to be deducted at the end of September and 500 at the end of October.
Now that I stumbled upon this website I REALLY feel duped. Not exactly sure what to do.

I received a call from legal assistant Donna Quince from Moreno and Woods leaving a docket number and threatening me with garnishment of my waiges and taking money out my checking account.  She said I should have received documents in the mail, which I have never received. I am thinking of having my husband call them back since he is in law enforcement.  Or should I just ignore the call?

She is LYING. They are not attorneys, not anything. Get a recorder and record their next call while you tell them you are not paying them. They tried to scam me with a false account. These people are low life  scammers. Pay the credit company if you owe anything. I cant wait until they try calling me again. But they wont. They know i will give them no money. I actually call them and harass them everyonce and a while. They cannot do squat to you. Dont believe them..

Get a physical address and tell them you want to pay in person. They will lie to you.  Do not give them any information or money.Their address on empire st. is a UPS forwarding mail center for them.  Do you actually on a credit card? I did not. They tried to scam me. They rank at the bottom with muslim terrorists and whale manure. I would suggest changing account numbers and go today and cancel future transaction at the bank. I know their actual address and have been inside their office gathering info on them.  Two people have criminal backgrounds that i am aware of. They read this forum.  Hello Lisa, my sweetie, how are you these days. Some of them dont use their real names. They have an"employee" that was arrested and gave up a lot of information about their operation. Go get a recorder and record their call. These people are professional all right, just scam artists. I hope they try suing me so i can get them in court.  Give them NO MONEY  !!!

I listened again to the message they left on voicemail last week. The call was from the "Law Office" of Moreno and Woods. LOL....what a joke. I can't believe I fell for it the first time. Unfortunately they did get some money from me but they won't get any more.....I cancelled my Visa Check card.
Yeah, it's a legitimate debt from years ago but I am NOT gonna pay some two-bit collection agency again for it.

I receive a voicemail today asking to respond immediately to a case # in which a court date was scheduled.  I called the #1-866-928-3160 and spoke to a Terry Jacobs...I was told that my 25 year old daughter has not paid her credit card since 2007 owing $1400, but he said to avoid court cost and sewing, she could settle her acct for $400 today. I asked him many questions and he always came back with good answers like a scam artist.  I ended up paying the $400 as I thought I was helping my daughter.  I should have never done this...knowing that he was giving confidential info about my daughter, no knowing who I was talking to and not talking to my daughter first....I have leaned from this experience.  I contacted my daughter immedietely and she said that this account was paid up in full and was closed in 2007.  I contact my bank to stop payment, but the payment had already gone thru.  I calLED Moreno and Woods and spoke to a secretary and left a message.  I waited 2 hours and called them again and spoke to a an Atty, presumably by the name of Russell Tinsbury or something like that. I tried to explain the situation and he was the most arrogant person and rude individual I ever spoke to...he hung up on me.  I faxed a letter of to them and I immediately received a call from Terry Jacobs who was very apologetic and asked me to fax the documentation to him proving that the account was paid in full.  My daugher had a recent Credit Bureau Print Out showing a zero balance and contacted her bank for statements showing payment.  I then called my bank to ask them if they knew of this co and they never heard of them.  I told them that this may be a scam and they said they would close my debit acct and filed a Scam Report..I think their report goes to the FBI.  I will call the bank again on Monday and I will also fax the proof of payment info to this fake CA.  I lost only $400, but I will go to the full extreme to try and stop these people.  Any suggestion or help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.  What should I do when I talk to them on Monday?  I know that they will not reimburse me but I want to get the satisfaction of telling them that the FBI is going to get them.  Please advise.

I was contacted by Moreno and Woods today trying to collect a $1400 credit card debt that they said my daughter had not paid on since 2007..they used a lot of scare tactics and told me that they were going to reposes her car today,..they agree to accept $400 today to clear her acct. which I fell for and should have never done soM68.,.they are scam artists..so please be wear.I did get in touch with them via a fax # and that is 716-688-7171 and I will give this number to the Fair Trades Commission and Atty. General Office of NY tomorrow.  I'm hoping they will be able to trace this fax...anything I can do to get these criminals in jail.,.I will pursue.

I think that first of all you should be smart enough to realize that the FBI has bigger and better things to do then worry about a coolection agency.  All you need to do is provide them with the information stating that this account is paid.  Without proper documentation they can't just close it out.  You need a physical letter from whoever you paid this account too.  Then fax it to them and talk to the nicest person you can possibly find in there office.  I used to work in collections and everyone that does the job is not a scam artist.  You can't just assume these things because you could be surprised of the people that are actually trying to help you.

You can't put people in jail for collecting on debts that consumers are racking up everywhere.  In all eyes people don't realize that collection agencies are helping the economy by collecting money that we would have never seen.  Get your facts straight before you just start shooting off at the mouth.  Tell your daughter to keep all important documentation in case this was to ever happen agian.

1st i am not a collection agent i couldnt do that if i tried.... i am way to nice a person for that job.... but i am confused becuase i will tell you what.... this nation is made up of people who are thieves.... from the government all the way down to the low lifes who have found a way to beat the system and are proud of it.... do we not get it!! we are stealing!!! i get the fact that the people who have chosen to feed off the ones like us who use the cc's we accept willingly and then push them under the rug and think hey score one for me.... does any one think thats wrong.... i mean i am guilty of it too!!! i mean i have 3 cc's outstanding right now and a few judgements that i cant aford but i didnt do it because i figured i would then be able to think well i spent it but i dont owe.... thats stealing, because if that was you giving some one the money and they spent it and said eh foget me ever paying it back, wouldnt you want that money back... especially if its 500.00 or more? i get the harassing calls but in retrospect i knw when i am wrong... and for people to actually be proud of finding a way not to pay back money you BORROWED and SPENT... thats not something to be proud of, i am not i have a guilty conscience for the money i used and havent been able to pay back yet,
We as a country live outside our means we are so worried about what we can buy with money we dont plan to repay.... we as a country are sad and we are all wasteful selfish and theives.....
And to any one that reads i dont care if it makes you mad because the truth all ways does anger the ones that it points to.... especially the ones that are sooo ready to give advice to the least educated consumers such as myself... those are the ones with the most bad debt and all the ways to steal the most with the most excuses on why they cant pay them back...
