I had the same experience as everyone above. The incoming call was from my area code (513) it almost looks as if it's a cell phone number. I never answer unknown numbers! They left a message stating, "This is Beth from Global Service and asked for a return call at 888-240-0182." She also said it was in regards to a "personal matter?!" I feel like everyone is getting the same generic voicemail left from this obvious scammer!!! It's very smart of everyone in her to report this type of activity!! Thanks for sharing your experiences and for the advice!!

Beth I hear you calling!  She called from Global Services from 330-238 local number.  I don't call her back.

I have received the same call as everyone else from Beth from Global Services.  It appears to come from a local number, but Beth asks for you to call 888-240-0182 regarding a personal matter.  Just adding my name to the list of folks who have received this call.

Same thing here, Beth with Global Services has called me 4 times today

Received two messages today one right after the other from the same caller stating that they are Global Services and they need to speak with me regarding a personal matter.  They said to call back at 888-240-0182.  After reading the other posts, I may call back (with blocking my number first) and tell them to F#@k off!

Same thing I have been inundated with calls from Beth. It comes from a local number. Who do I report it to


Beth must be this 'companies' employee!  I've also had several messages from Beth at Global Services about a personal business matter. Right. Caller ID shows a local area code (816-282-6738) but message gives an 888 number. Screaming scam to me.

I gets a call from someone name Beth 3 or 4 times a day. She calls from a difference phone number but she always leave this number 888-240-0182 to return her call. Her message is "this is Beth  from Global Services  please call me back at 888-240-0182 regarding a personal matter."

They used a local (202) 838-0135 and a girl named Beth from Global Services said to call her back about a personal matter.  She called twice yesterday and twice today. Finally, put them on the call blocker list...

Add me to this list...they call from 765 2050073 and "beth" says to call back (they leave no name whom they are looking for)   and to call 8882400182 ...but for me, the calls started when I recently ordered a book off amazon...

Beth has called me at least twice a day for the past three days. Always a personal matter.
I called back and was told my number was not in their system.

Of course the 512 number comes up with James Holmes in Austin, TX

I have been getting several calls from Beth as well. What is interesting is that although I have a Fl cell number, I live in another state but all the calls appear to be from the same Fl area code as my phone. I guess they match the area code to whoever they call to appear 'local'. A few months back I recieved these same calls looking for my husband. Not knowing better, I called them back and they wanted 4,000 for a payday loan by 5pm that day or they would arrest my hubby for felony banking fraud. I was so caught up I almost paid them but didn't have enough. I would make a deal to pay in a few days but they wouldn't budge so I called a friend who found out it was a scam. I felt really guillible. Thankfully they were greedy and won't make a deal or I would be out a couple grand. They stopped calling after that but looks like they are at it again. Now, I don't even pick up.

"Beth" is calling me two or three times a day, with a recorded message about "important information about my credit card".. since I have managed without a credit card for 20 years now, I rather doubt it...:-)
