I get my calls from a Raleigh number.  (919) 827-8224.  Same chick same message same number to call as everyone else.  8 times so far

Got two calls from "BETH" from 1-412-200-7961. I would also like to know what I need to do to file a lawsuit. Should I record the messages, and even record an answered call? This is harassment, they are calling a private line, and I would like to make some cash while discouraging these scammers. We should file a group lawsuit and also pursue some criminal charges such as fraud.

I've had this lady Beth call my phone from global services (I never answer numbers I don't know) it's a local number but in the message leaves 888-240-0182 number to call back immediately regarding the matter but never gives details....i have two separate phones and she calls both and I have the number blocked but still leaves messages..... I'm about to sue these folk over it any one know to what kind of lawyer I need to speak too?????

I received three voicemail messages from Beth with Global Services.  Please call me back at 888-240-0182 regarding a personal matter.  The original call came from 843-628-5604.  I called her back and she wanted me to confirm the last four of my social, when I refused to do that, she wanted me to confirm my date of birth, I refused to do that. She said "we will proceed as necessary".  I said okay, fine with me.  She said "we have the information, just need you to confirm it."  I said, I will not confirm nor deny the information.  She said "Good bye".  Wow.

Have received numerous days within a 2 day period - calls coming from my "Area code" asking to return calls to Global Services at 888-240-0182 for a personal issue.  They have the last 4 digits of my SSN incorrect, have called me by an incorrect first name and have also told me they are removing my cell number, landline, & father's number from their "system".  Guess we will see about that. SCAMMER ALERT!!

I got a call from 888 240 0182 left a vm saying something about a personal matter..i told them they was scam and they start giving me there email address.

These people have consistently called my cell phone for the last few days.  They asked to me verify the last 4 numbers of my social security number but I refused.  I asked them why they were calling and the only information they would give was in reference to a lawsuit.  They would not give any other information.  However, they continue to call and harass me for my personal information.

Message left on my voicemail:  “Hello this is Beth from global services please call me back at 888-240-0182 regarding a personal matter thank you."

You have to find them first.  No one knows where they are located.  My suspicion is that they are an off-shore group in the Caribbean.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

At work we received the same exact message "Beth regarding personal matter....,." with the same call back number 8887 240 0182- caller ID is showing a local number (I live in CHS, SC). I almost fell for it - They are getting tricky with the local area code on caller ID.

Got 2 messages on my answering machine within an hour of one another saying to call Beth from Global Services regarding a personal matter. The call back number was 888-240-0182. The number they actually called from was 605-206-2610. Of course I do my homework before calling anyone back that I've never dealt with it heard of and found bunches of reports. I'm not calling them back thanks to people who report these calls.

I get these calls from same number three or four times a day I blocked the number but still get voice mail from them.

Interesting, I just received 3 calls this morning from a Beth, regarding a personal matter and to return her call at 888-243-0182.  Thanks all for the heads up on this scam.  I will not be calling that number back.

Me too.  Beth called 3 times.  WHERE do they get our # from?

This was definitely from Global Services and the number that came up on the caller ID said 804-201-9646, but the call back number that "Beth" gave was 888-240-0182.
