Scam for home warranty.
Don't believe it, don't do it and hang up.

Received a notice pretending to be my Morgtage lender, my home is paid for.
Scammers, received several calls but I blocked them. Stop the harassment.

Scammers- opened up equity line and have been getting these ridiculus threats calling themselfs the home warranty department

This actually came in the mail, saying that our "Home Warranty" was about to expire and we needed to call ASAP or else we'd be on the hook for "many thousands of repairs." Didn't know there was such a thing as a "Home Warranty" - probably because there isn't. They had our actual mortgage lender on the document so they are more sophisticated than the normal telemarketer fraud.

Did not call but instead sent a letter. Bright pink paper saying final notice. With my name and my bank's name all over it with a customer id number and to call as soon as possible. Please warn any and all elderly family members of this scam.

Robin & Andrew (above poster), I received the same bright pink paper saying:

In bold: 'TIME SENSITIVE' "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUIRED" with my name and my bank's name on it as well, stating: "This letter is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at {your address} secured by {your bank}, may be expiring or may have already expired.
"Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date.

Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-251-7535."

Blah, blah, blah, blah. 1) No one has ever contacted me before so this can't be a "FINAL NOTICE". 2) I don't have a home warranty to pay for replacements of various appliances, etc.

As part of our mortgage contract, we had to have a home warranty for the first few years but then we dropped it - about 17 yrs ago. It would've been more expensive to keep it rather than just paying for replacement of anything under warranty.

Therefore, this is a scam. I *really* don't appreciate this sort of fear-inducing marketing ever, but I **really** don't appreciate it at this time when we're all under so much pressure and anxiety anyway because of COVID-19. Terrible to use that tactic at any time, but especially terrible nowadays. Despicable.

Please warn your family & friends (any age but especially those who are elderly) about this sort of thing, tell them to call you if they ever doubt something they received in the mail or a phone call. Be aware!

Total scam, got a FINAL NOTICE letter in the mail about a home warranty issue. No return address on envelope that it came in.

I dont reply to anyone on a phone call, email, or letter if I didnt ask for something.  I dont need solar,
home warranty, car warranty, etc.

I got a letter from them saying .my warranty on my home ..expired..i don't even own ..i rent..
