Scammers. Pathetic attempts to scam hard working tax paying and senior citizens in America out of their money by tempting them with a computer refund. There are no free lunches. They all come with salmonella, botulism, E.coli and listeria prepared by parasites who are too lazy to work.

Another disgusting and time consuming scam.  Whoever it is, they are making money off unknowing people, usually senior citizens.  They should be put on a boat in the antarctic when or if they ever get caught.

Phone call to my 84yr old Mother with dementia. She was upset. I dialed the redial number and got a foreign gentleman with a lot of yelling conversation in the back. I told never to call number again and he asked me if I had a computer. What an idiot. How do I stop these phone calls

Maybe a call blocker, or getting on their nerves by letting your phone ring. A call blocker may be best if not answering is not an option. Returning calls is NOT going to stop them, instead, asking for more.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

My 88-year-old mother called me about a message on her machine, wondering if she should call them back.  Was able to advise her of the above comments and to NOT call back or even talk to them.  Obviously targeting the elderly.  Thanks

CID said "Toll Free Call".  They have called multiple times but I always reject the call.  Probably a scam of some sort, but I don't know what they want in that I never answer.  They have called enough times that I am now blocking the number.

The caller said that I subscribed to a computer service at Geek Squad through Best Buy and that I was entitled to a refund.  Also, the message that was left first said that it was somebody at Apple and then when I called back they said they were with Geek Squad and answered the phone by saying hello not by a company name
    • Caller: Geek squad or Apple they used both names

This is probably a phishing scam.  They are after your credit card info.  There is no refund, but you will find a large charge on your account, and they will repeat it monthly if they can.

Robo saying I was due a refund from Microsoft and/or Apple.  Claim my computer would be turned off.  Claimed they were going out of business and this is my last chance to get my refund.  I'm just hoping this is my last call from these scammers.  There is no refund.

I was told that I had a refund waiting for me. When I asked questions like when I bought my computer, in what name, and why I need to turn my computer on the gentleman got very rude and beligerent. He said something about a form and when I told him to email it to me he asked if I wanted it in " MY MOUTH OR MY [***] ". I then proceeded to hang up. Ridiculous. Something needs to be done.

I am 82 and have received one to two calls daily for the past 2 days!   I know they are phony's and therefore will not even pick up the line.  I have added the number to my 'do not call' list but I am sure it won't stop these leaches.

Very disgusted 70 yr old senior citizen, I live in the Northeast and the nine phone calls on the day of the big storm has put me over the edge. I had to take all calls for snow removal estimates, while 13" inches was falling quickly. I have a heart condition but can only do so much snowblowing, shoveling. This place called nine times from 8am to 905pm. I have been in bed for two days stressed out over it. I have never done business with best buy or geek squad and DO not own a computer, so why are they harassing me? WHY??

It probably has a lot to do with having a phone number that always has an answer of some kind. While you don't have any business with what they're calling about, it's not going to stop them if you've got an answer on all calls. See what I posted previously on how to stop them. Getting a working number is almost as good as ransacking a computer, or tricking you out of personal or financial information, or money. NO kind of answer with unknown numbers (probably not possible with health issues) spoils any chance for pests to get anything. A call blocker might be best.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Called out house 4 times in one day and once a few days before that.  Their calls were rejected each time.  CID displayed "Toll Free Call" each time.  No way will they get through to a person at this house.  Don't know what they want but it's most certainly nothing I want to hear about.  Probably time to add the number to our call blocker.
