refund scam microsoft computer

scammer....wanting to lure you in for a new computer.

They are still out there.Usually picking up the phone and hanging up after 3rd ring usually stops scammers but this one calls about once a week pitching refund for microsoft or apple support. SCAM

This # started calling me today and leaving messages.  It keeps calling.  How do I get it to stop. It says claim money from apple.

Company shutting down.  Call to claim your refund from Windows and Apple support.  Scam!

Yep, got the same number calling me.  I didn’t answer it.  Looks like I need to block the number.  Thanks everyone for the input.  This site is invaluable.

Called trying to scam me. I had fun calling them back 20 times and playing with them. They finally blocked my number. Oh well.

I just block the number on my phone. They called me too. I can't stand. But then create other phone numbers to call from. Just block them.

Got a call from this number on my land line.  Refund of money I paid to Microsoft or Apple.  Sloppy and a scam.  I am guessing support from the two companies would never come from the same caller.  Plus I have learned to never respond to calls I did not initiate.

You have to block them. I am assuming your mother does not have a cell phone. If she did she could do it there. If not, there is a number that would put her on the do not call list. It will drastically cut down those calls. I am not sure what the number is, but search for the National Do Not Call, and you should be able to get it. My 97 year old father gets those so I will do the same for him. I know it is so frustrating.
