I also got a call VM from some Courier services that failed to deliver a package left a phone number 18882661702 and a tracking number. I called and they asked if this was dawn Clarkson I knew right then something was wrong I haven't been Clarkson in over 30 years "previously married " name.  I asked what the hell this was about they said they were trying to send me a summons and wanted my address and other info I hung up and Google their numbers right away and that led me here, thank God I hung up. Wow how are they getting away with all this crap? They need to be stopped. They are obviously getting our personal information somewhere like I said, I haven't used Clarkson in over 30 years before the Internet so how are they getting this information.

Well that's funny my tracking number is exactly the same number. Weird.. Stupid frigging scammers ugh piss me off.

Same deal.  Jamie calls.  Leaves message with fake tracking number.  Called back.  Just wanted my husbands  DOB and last four digits of SS#. SCAM.  SCAM..

This is a debt collection trick using a real company's name as part of their scam.  They brought up a T Mobile bill in which the account was closed 25 years ago..  They had name and date of birth and said I would be sued over, I told her no, they cannot sue me and then hung up on her.  I am going to report them to United Courier for the use of their name in this scam.

You are going to report them to themselves?  Why would you do that?  Would it not be better to report them to the Federal and State Agencies that were listed in thread (and even have links to them so that you can get right to the complaint)?

My dad got the exact same voicemail "Hi this is Jamie calling from United Courier Service to schedule delivery of a package and it looks like we have been unsuccessful on two previous attempt please contact the original sender to reschedule delivery of this package. They can be reached at 888-266-1702. Also please reference the following tracking number 1Z4966SGC4471. Thank you and have a nice day." Called from 979-300-6309 and my dad was waiting on a package and since he’s an essential worker he hasn’t been home. Called the number and it rang twice and it sounded like someone picked up and out the phone next to a speaker of a song playing trying to make it seem like I was on hold. I didn’t wait so hung up and called the actual company my dad was waiting a deliver from and confirmed this United courier service call was a scam!!

Calcutta India, Exchange Numbers in every US City/State, especially San Diego, CA. They have specialists "IT", "Computer Programmers"  & "Software Engineers" that "Dig" through Nationwide Debit Records of a single person within an entire family & "Calling"  anyone within that family, hoping one of the family member(s) will Tell the whereabouts of that family member that is in debit !!  BIG, ORGANIZED & HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED, "SCAMMING"  MOB.

I was told to call 888-266-1702 by "Jamie at United Courrier". She stated multiple attempts had been made to deliver a package unsuccessfully and that I needed to reference tracking number IV4966SCG4471. (Amazing how that same tracking number keeps popping up here). I'm not going to bother calling the 888 number as I know it's got to be a scam. Thank you to all the previous posts on this. It really does help.

Caller left message saying there have been several attempts from a courier to deliver package. Calls from an 810-370-8387 number but tells me to call another number. Funny I have a camera on house but never seen a delivery attempt.. SCAM written all over this message

Same BS as above. They call my mom about “trying to leave a package two times” ... I call THEM two times and each time they answer the phone and try to get me to answer questions instead of explaining who they are representing... I call back and the same lady answers with this lame southern accent.... she then accuses me of being a prank caller... extremely tacky folks!

Scamers do not answer or go with any thing they tell you ,don't fool by their tricks  ....

Tried to get my credit card number to pay a scam court appearance bill Using Verizon company name. Jordon was scammer as well as Jamie. I want to SUE the scammers of 1888-266-1702 and 1810-370-8387. I WANT to sue them. Calk me to begin a Scam claim against these phone scammers

No one needs to call you in order for you to sue them.  You make an appointment with a lawyer and he/she will take it from there.

I was just asked to get them a call cuz they're trying to deliver a package and they give me a tracking number and all this stuff and yeah I don't trust this number at all
