I just received a message stating that same, that I owed back taxes and that a warrant would be put out for my arrest if i did not call back.

B.s scam the same as above.

Ridiculous taped message claiming to be the IRS...gonna come and get me if I don't call back and arrange payments! I smelled a scam immediately with this number. Beware.

Received a call. They asked me to verify my name. I said no you called me. hey said OK (called me by name) and told me they were the IRS and they have a suit against me. I said seriously what is it? Sarcastically. They then told me that they weren't going to tell me what it was because I'm not taking it seriously. I said I'm not taking you seriously you don't even sound like you're in the US. I also don't think you are the IRS or that they would be approaching a suit against me. He said fine I'll just send the local police to your door to explain it, have a good day. I then called back and asked why they were harassing me and they said they're the IRS. They said they wouldn't explain this to me because I'm not taking this seriously. They hung up. I called back again and ask them to explain what the suit was. He then called me by name and told me he would not explain what the suit was and that the police would explain it when they show up on my doorstep.I asked when will they be here so I know to be home as I would love to chat with them but I don't believe the police will show up and I would appreciate finding out how you got my number. He told me not to call there number again. I laughed as the call was ended.

Call them back because they have important warrant information about me and I must return their call...

Don't worry it's just a scam. They are trying to scare you to get money. Just ignore it.

I got the same message as below as was nervous so i called them back.  When i asked questions like how much did i get in taxes last year they couldn't answer.  Then when i said i paid to have my taxes done they needed to contact the H&R Block the lady started yelling and arguing with me.  This definitely was an indicator this was a scam.  I hung up and will not be answering any of these calls.  You can block if you click the number and on the more icon click it and it will say put on phones block list.  That way they can't call me anymore.  This is with a Verizon Samsung Galaxy phone.

I received the same message a week ago and sent $2000 via Wester Union.  I assume I am in the clear because I haven't heard back from the IRS.

I got a call today and a caller states that "serious charges has [sic] been charged against" me and "before anything goes wrong" or before they track down my [garbled] file to my local police department  "in order to get arrested on these charges" she wants me to call her back "as soon as possible" at her department. She states the phone number to call back to "which is 888-275-2231" (the number from which the call originated). She repeats the number, then identifies herself as "Jennifer Scott again of Investigation Department of Internal Revenue Service. Thank you and have a [garbled] day.". I called back three times, got some Muzak (an "Apache" dance number) at high volume, then nothing. This is NOT a legitimate call from the IRS. These crooks need to be shut down.

Warrant out to arrest me

Left message on my voicemail. I know IRS doesn't work this way. I called back advised I knew they are a scam. They said they were tracking me and the police would be here to arrest me. I told them I'll be waiting and hung up. Hopefully they put me on the can't be scammed list and refrain from calling me again.

You were scammed. The IRS states they will never call someone demanding pymt. Neverless send police to our door.  You should contact our local police and have them investigate fraud

They called me today 12/2/2016 stating I owed back taxes and I needed to pay before they issue a arrest warrant for my arrest... they are scammers and evil people

Got call from them saying the same as other people just post . The guy I can't almost understand it's asking me very unconfortable questions and calling me dear honey and baby just hung on them so piss right now .

same as I see here "Jennifer Scott"  it upset me so badly that I did call back; no ring and no answer and then I started researching online.  My call was the same as these already noted.
