Same scam...Jennifer Scott with IRS, arrest warrants, taxes, lawsuits...call 888-278-2231.  Called it (knowing its a scam) and some guy with thick India accent gives me a fake irs badge number, tells me they audited my rates from 2012 to 2014 and I over claimed on the EIC and need to pay them $600+ dollars to avoid being arrested by police.  I laughed and told him I don't qualify for EIC and to just send the police.  He said I wo6be arrested in 45 min...told him to bring it on.

Does anyone know the number to call back? I work for a legal division and i didnt have my vm set up......I cant call the 888 because its disconnected....I want to call them back and get them traced

Same call as most. Telling my they were the IRS and if I didn't pay them $750 immediately the police would be at my door within 30 minutes and my credit & debit cards will be shut down along  with my bank accounts. They would also cieze my cars and property's.

this is a scam where they are saying that you will be arrested . Please call your police department and turn this number in so these people will be arrested.

Automated message from "Steven Roger" who said "I am from the Investigation Department of the Internal Revenue.  There are serious charges being brought against you.  An arrest warrant has been issued under your name.  Before we track down your file at the police department you should call me at  888-275-2332".  That's why I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  I wait to see if they are going to leave a message so I can determine if it's just another scam.  This saves me a lot of time.

I got the same call "Tony" (see my post on Page 3); but remember, Americans scam Americans also.  Therefore, I can assume Donald Chump also wants "our" people out of "our" country along with "these people".

Received a message from 1-888-275-2231 stating he was an IRS officer and they would arrest me if I hung up and didn't make arrangements for payment. bad people, calling with an Indian accent....ugh!

How can I be arrested if I call you back and you can't tell me who I am?

Received a call stating I owed $557 in back taxes. That they are notifying the local sheriff to have me arrested.  I called them liars and he said I'll see and hung up. Some guy with an Indian accent.

Just got a call that I have a warrant out for my arrest & I owe a lot of money to the IRS

asked person answering phone to call back and if not will have local police arrest person...no name asked for, nor any name given as caller.....

Message says that it is from a federal agent and that a judge has issued a federal warrant for my arrest. If I fail to contact them it will be a second failed attempt and they will be arresting me on federal charges.

From what I understand the IRS will communicate by letter that an audit is being done and gives a set date to present your tax information and or have your representative contact them. Plus if you do owe them money they again would notify you by mail to pay it and if you do not they take the money from your checking /savings acct and garnish your wages. Sadly this happened to a relative of mine. Funny thing is the IRS actually ended up owing him money.  So this is a scam and for Pete’s sake don’t give them any money.

I received a call from this number and they left a message saying I am approved for a loan

called and told me that they were investigators for the federal government.

i got the SAME exact message!!!!!  LIterally the same one...on the VERY same day!!!

I just got a call from this # saying I had requested a Senior Discount Card.  I cut her off and said, "You must have the wrong # as no one from this # requested any such thing....good bye".
