You have been named respondent in court action and must appear. Said to call 888-275-3933. Forward this info to attorney and must call within 24-48 hours. Order to show cause contains restraining order. Also gave number 855-678-0744." This is TERRIBLE!

I got a call for my friend on my cell. They left a voicemail with the same information about a civil suit and a restraining order, call with attorney in 24-48 hours??? What is this does anyone know!

I got a call too regarding a civil suit for a restraining order with a case number. Call with attorney in 24-48 hours. Need to appear in court or it will be a warrant for my arrest. This came out of the blue. The company is Luchay & Associates. No BBB records. They guy was very nasty. Then I got transferred to a manager but how do they have managers if its a court matter. Wouldnt the court send something in writing. I know if the court can find me about my foreclosure being finalized after 5yrs then I would have gotten something in the city. Can someone tell me if this is real or a scam?

This is a scam call for a paydayloan scam Do not bother to call them or worry about it.  Give this number to the Fair Trade Commission and tell them you are getting threatening calls.  Or, if you like, call that number and listen to their line of bull and then tell them its a scam and they will hang up on you.

I called the Fair Trade Commission and filed a complaint reference # 39952416 please call them and reference my complaint number.... I called that scam # and they hung up on me lol.  I also called the real Luchay and Assoc.  and they told me that alot of people have contacted them due to the spam calls from the LUCHEY and Assoc.  We need to put a stop to these people..... If you are brave and love to argue lol call the spamers at 888-275-3933 or 855-678-0744 and let them know that you are adding your name to the complaint already filed with the FTC and you can give them the reference # and my name if you would like Take heart!!!! It will be o.k.  Don't give these people any money

Thank so much. They call was out of the blue. My friend used me as a reference for a payday loan 2 years or so ago. But that just goes to show how the system cares less about protecting us. They buy and sell our information leaving us no choice but to get these dumb calls. I will call Monday!

Were about to prosecute me for having funds put into my
account I never received these funds they told me that I had to pay
25 dollars today and 100 dollars a week until November. The
information on me was partially correct with other information
wrong. This is very scary because they said they were sending someone
to my home to have me locked up today and it could be for the next
5 years. However,8 am about to call FTC and report this matter.

I received a message on my brother's answering machine that said I needed to call 888-275-3933 because of a restraining order. The other number that they left was 888-678-0744. They told me I needed $500 up front to make it go away. If this doesn't smell like a scam, I don't know what does.

THEY GAVE ME AN AFFIDAVIT #  AND SAID I HAD 24-48 HOURS TO SHOW - ..I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT,,,, WHAT RESTRAINING ORDER. ????????????????    I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT.

THEY SAID I HAD TO HAVE MY ATTORNEY CALL IMMEDIATELY TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND THAT I HAD TO SHOW FOR THE ORDER.  THESE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED.  THE TEL NUMBER WAS 888-275-3933  AND THE OTHER WAS 888-678-0744.

Wow!  All the above for me from the losers at this number.  Called me on Monday morning and finally got around to filing a complaint with the FTC a few minutes ago.  PLEASE...I urge all that have posted to file a complaint by either visiting the FTC website or calling 1-877-382-4357, the FTC directly.  Like Carolyn's post above.  My reference number is #40095110.  Lets shut them down before they get money out of some poor soul they scare or give someone a nervous breakdown.  They contacted my elderly parents and upset them very badly.  Mom is just recently out of the hospital.  Nasty, bullies and smart a##s. I'm so glad I finally found all your postings, these people have called my cell phone several times over the past two weeks and a friend of mine trying to get information about me, thankfully she refused to give them any info about me and told them all she would do is pass the information along to them.  After my post here I'm contacting the FTC too.  I must admit, I was beginning to get a little freaked out myself, like others, they threatened me with the same BS. Said they would also be contacting my work if I didn't answer.   Watch out for any of these numbers 800-251-9311, 888-275-3933 and 855-678-0744, the company name is Luchey & Associates.

Recieved the exact same call as Beth.  I reported them to the FCC.

I have an active law suit against these folks as do 2 other companies.

Oh for pity sake Ashley.   don't worry.  You are being high pressure scammed.  It's a simple deal for anyone to get some information on someone else.  They use it to make it sound legit.  They are not sending someone to your home.  It's unbelievable to me that they would even have the cajones to use that kind of BS.
Do indeed call the FTC.   This is a hoax and don't worry about it a minute more.  Just dont even talk to these scabs. If they call you again,  hang up...

I just received a call from these very rude  jerks myself!! From 18558974809 saying they would not provide any documentation BEFORE is was paid in full. They were gonna send a summons for me and blah blah blah.im so glad i looked it up!!! Im adding my name to your list!!!
