I received the same exact message.
I did not return the call as it probably some sort of scam.

I received a call identical to the ones listed on this post.  Tom Graham with the firm of ..... I did not return the call.  Uses a tone sounding threatening, like call me or else.

Received a voice message today from called ID "Out of Area" from a "Tom Graham of Russell Reynolds & Ingram."  Caller said he needs to talk to the owner.

Received a call from this number today and they indentified themselves as Russell, Reynolds and Ingram.  The message was passed along to me from one of our employees.  When I called back to get more info they passed me to 3 people.  The third one (didn't write down her name) said they were a license recovery agency and that she could only speak to the owner of our company.  When I asked her what a license recovery agency was exactly she said once again she could only talk to the owner.  Told her he wouldn't call without more information and she said that was up to him.  Not sure what the scam is, but something didn't seem right!

I have received several calls from russell, reynold and ingram.  These calls are asking for an owner.  In my place of business I am the manager.  The Owner's do not come here.  I do not want this company to call back again!  We are not interested.

Chris Morgan (female) called and left message on our private voicemail number, said call 888-280-1887.  Probably called our office number and heard our message to call our separate voicemail number in the paging terminal.....

Got a voicemail left from a Tom Graham, from Russell, Reynolds & Ingram, wanted to speak to the Owner of my company and had my company name but I didn't call back.
I think I got one like this about a week ago from a woman.

Our business recieved a call today from a lady using the name Patricia Johnson.  same as the above.  I need the owner or director to call me immediatly they gave the number 1-888-280-2636.  Made the call seem like it was call me or else.  I returned the call late in the evening today and it went to a messsage it did not go to any business it just rang and said I will diconnect know.  Weird.  I beleive it is a scam also.

My call I received was the same company as claims from this number.  However I was tols to call back at 1-888-280-2636

Tom Graham from Russel, Reynolds and Ingram called asking for the owner, left the toll-free number and would not say what kind of business it was.

We've received many phone calls~ they hang up when we try and ask them to remove us from thir list. Rude Rude Rude!!!! Never have I been spoken to this way- they claim to be a "colections agent" that will work for you to recover outstanding debt! I do not understand how they expect to get any business by being [***]!!!

A caller by the name of Tom called asking for me, I returned the call asking what this was in reference to and Tom was rude and hung up on me. When I returned the call Tom just stated we're not interested, I reminded him that he called me and I was returning his call, and asked not to call again.

Court Enters Final Order in FTC Action Against Florida Debt Collectors
A federal court has entered a final order against a Florida debt collection agency, its principals, and its attorney, settling a Federal Trade Commission action that alleged that the defendants violated the FTC Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) while collecting consumers’ debts.
The FTC’s complaint alleged that the enterprise used misleading dunning letters and abusive telephone calls to falsely threaten that consumers would be sued, their property seized, and their wages garnished if they did not pay the money that the defendants said they owed. The complaint alleged that the collectors often shouted and used profanity and other abusive language to carry out their collections.
The stipulated final order, among other things, permanently bars the defendants from falsely representing the character, amount, or legal status of a consumer’s debt, that their collector is an attorney or represents an attorney, or that if the consumer does not pay, the defendants can or will file a lawsuit against the consumer. It also prohibits them from violating the FDCPA in any way, including by disclosing a consumer’s debts to any third parties, using profanity or other abusive language in collection calls, or by continuing to attempt to collect a debt before providing verification of the debt to consumers who properly request such verification. The settlement also requires the defendants to provide consumers with a toll-free number and mailing address to file complaints, promptly investigate each such complaint, and take steps to cease, resolve, and cure any violations of the court order or the FDCPA.
The defendants are Rawlins & Rivera, Inc. of Florida, Rawlins & Rivera, Inc. of Georgia, Ryan & Reed, Inc. of Florida, Ryan & Reed, Inc. of Georgia, RRI, Inc., the corporations’ officers, Janis Brust, Joe L. Hunt, Sr., Joe L. Hunt, Jr., and a Florida lawyer, Robert W. Bird, whose letterhead was used for many of their collection letters. The settlement contains a monetary judgment of $3.4 million, which represents the total amount the defendants took in through their allegedly improper debt collection activities. The settlement requires the defendants to sell property and transfer the proceeds of the sale to the FTC. The remainder of the $3.4 million will be suspended based upon the defendants’ inability to pay.
The Commission vote to authorize staff to file the stipulated final order was 5-0. The order was entered by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, on January 14, 2008, along with an order dismissing Shannon Hunt from the complaint.
NOTE: Stipulated final orders are for settlement purposes only and do not constitute an admission by the defendant of a law violation. A stipulated final order requires approval by the court and has the force of law when signed by the judge.

got the same today.  checked website prior to calling.  did not return call  this sounds like scam to me

I have to say regarding the post above, I run a fortune 500 co they have been my collection agency for many years. I have to say I have used SEVERAL collection agencies in the past and never got the kind of results I have got from this company.They have done a fabulous job collecting my money. So for the ones that say it is a scam its not,they are one of the best collection agencies around.
