I have been called several times from this number.  They will call me and only state that it is a personal financial matter for me and unless I can provide them with details (i.e., last 4 #s of SS#, home address, email, etc.) so that they know they are talking to the right person they can not tell me anything more.  They called me!  So, if they want to speak to me about a "personal" financial matter, they will have to do so without me giving them any more of my personal information. As I have not done business their company nor do I have any financial contract with them, they are obviously working for another company possibly to collect an old debt. If they would give me more detail, on who they are and why they are calling me and on who's behalf, I could at least make sure they are legitimate and call them back. I may be being paranoid, but when someone calls me asking me to verify who I am before they will tell me who they are, why they are even calling, and to what in particular it's pertaining, I am leery.  I have heard a lot lately of how people can hack into your computer and obtain personal/financial information, scam you, etc. with minimal information.  Anyway, I have asked to be removed from their "list".  Hopefully they won't call again.  Terrible customer service for whomever they work for.  They are less than polite and very hard to understand.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I called the number back from a landline.  It says, "Thank you for calling MRX (or Amerix) hard to understand.  But your call will be recorded and monitored.

The rat [***] called my cell phone #. Will our govt. ever do anything before it's a cell  phone plague?

I called this number back and they kept telling me that they were M.R.S. and that I had a business matter to resolve with them. I kept asking for more info but they wouldn't tell me anything unless i provided zip code and more info. I asked to be removed from the call list so hopefully they do that.

They are a collection agency

Yep, collection agency. They use several numbers too in case you get wise and block one of their phone numbers.....they'll just call you from another one. I've had multiple calls from different numbers and after searching this site they all said MRS debt collection. Pretty annoying. I refuse to give them any info about me since *they* are the ones calling me. It'd be better if they stopped harassing me with calls, but I guess that's just wishful thinking.

Have been receiving calls for nearly a month at all different times of day. No message left.

I keep getting calls from this number and a couple other that I think are the same company. I answered, and the lady said she was calling from MR Associates (at least that's what it sounded like) about an important matter, said it was going to be recorded, and then she put me on hold! I was in the middle of making supper and also have a 3-year-old to keep track of. I stayed on hold several minutes before I got fed up and hung up. If they call me, they better be ready to talk and tell me what it's all about!

These people are the lowest POS on the face of the Earth. Just download "Mr Number" from Google Play or your app store, it is FREE and [***] blocks these [***] every time they call. I have it set to pick up and hang up on them in 2 seconds, my phone will not even ring and this app kicks ass!
