- IndianaReceived two calls. Both calls from an extremely rude and unprofessional woman with an attitude. I told her we did not have any information on the person they were looking for and to never contact my number again. On the second call I asked again to be removed from their list and she gave me a bs story about how it was not in their system and must have been removed already. I would guess they are bounty hunters trying to find someone and trying to look under every rock.

The County Sheriff can seize personal property or assets of the Debtor, the Creditor must first identify the property to be seized. To learn the Debtor's assets, a Creditor may request an INFORMATION SUBPOENA from the City Court for a fee. An INFORMATION SUBPOENA is a legal document that directs the Debtor to answer certain questions regarding the existence and location of assets as well as employment and wage information. (Although usually served on the Judgment Debtor, an Information Subpoena may be served on another person or corporation, such as a bank, that has knowledge regarding the Debtor's assets.)
Upon the filing of a request for an Information Subpoena and payment of the filing fee, the City Court Clerk will provide you with the Subpoena, which consists of two sets of Questions and a cover letter. You must mail the cover letter, both sets of Questions, and a prepaid, addressed return envelope to the individual or institution being asked to answer the questions. It is recommended that you mail the forms by certified mail, return receipt requested, so that you can provide proof of mailing to the Court in the event that the completed Questions are not returned to you. The individual or institution directed to answer the questions must do so within seven (7) days of receipt.
If you do not receive a response to the Information Subpoena, you may commence a contempt proceeding against the individual who failed to answer the Subpoena. A Creditor may commence a contempt proceeding by filing the proof of service (for example: the certified mail receipt) of the Information Subpoena with the Court. The Court will then schedule a date for the other party to provide the Information Subpoena to the Court, or appear in Court to explain why the information has not been provided. If that party fails to appear on the date set, the Court will issue a Contempt Order and the person shall be in contempt of court until they provide the information demanded.
Once a Creditor receives the Information Subpoena or if the Creditor is already aware of the personal property of the Debtor, the Creditor may proceed with the execution of the Judgment. The levy on, or seizure of, a Judgment Debtor's personal property by the use of a property execution is the most common method for enforcing a money judgment. Before proceeding to the enforcement officer, the Sheriff, to execute the judgement, the Creditor must file a Transcript of Judgement with the County Clerk (UCCA 1505)(see below). After filing the Transcript of Judgement with the County Clerk, the Creditor must provide the enforcement officer, the Sheriff, with instructions identifying the property and its location, as well as the names and addresses of other people who must be served with the notice that the property is being seized. The completed Information Subpoena will provide some, but not necessarily all, of this information to the Creditor. Once assets are identified, the enforcement officer can seize assets and sell them at an execution sale, applying the proceeds to the Judgment. - naWe too have received several calls from the Jason Head LLC attorney. Called back finally and when you press 1 if you received a call, it only repeats the same message - uhhh. Finally called and held today to get a person. The first man was fine, said he would connect me to the woman handling this - they were asking for a middle aged son, who has not lived here for probably 18-20 years, on an old debt from his ex. Anyway, when I got the woman and asked to be removed as a contact, she tole me - "don't get smart with me"! I was thinking, oh my gosh, you are calling on our personal phone, we just want you to quit calling us. I said, what you are calling me, she interrupted and just said I will remove your name and HUNG UP!! Hope that supposed law office gets no more clients and closes their doors. If their customers - whoever is paying them, knew this, you would think they would find other head hunters and/or rude people to call for them. For someone who supposedly wants information from people, they are certainly going about it the wrong way!! At leat - hopefully we are off their list now!
My thoughts after this - don't waste your time calling them back, unless you are wanting some rudeness that day.- Caller: Jason Head LLC
- JohnWe have received several calls from 888-279-5761, a recorded message saying that the law office of Jason Head is trying to reach a lady with the same last name as mine and first name of Erlian???. The first time they called, I tried to return the call and let them know they had the wrong number. I could not get through and suspected a scam. After looking up this number on the web, I came across this site with other reports of possible scam. I have ignored the other phone calls, but would love to get rid of this nuisance.

Do you still have the address for these people? They've been calling for someone else and when I requested their address (to do a written request to have my number removed)they hung up on me! A second rep said their address is on their website, but she wouldn't give that up either and hung up again! Please give me the address if you have it. I now want to file a complaint with the BBB and FCC. - FedUpKeep getting calls from 888-279-5761 looking for my son. Have received 3 calls in the last 3 days. Decided to look up the number on the internet and it brought me to this site. Glad I looked up the number. Can we report this number to the FCC? I hope so.
- Maryland| 1 replyGetting calls from Miss Davis out of attorney Jason Head's office regarding an open legal matter case # 105453. They use the name of a relative that happens to be our last name. They are calling all our lines and asking us to call 888-279-5761 x 126 however the caller id shows Out of Area 757-453-6447. There is no open legal or financial matter in our families so I am reporting to the Do Not Call Registry with which my numbers are registered www.donotcall.gov. The line is out of VA and can't be traced to any office...so much for being an attorney.

- one step ahead of them replies to Marylandthey are/were calling me trying to get me to pay a credit card balance from 8 years ago. . I believe it's been paid with all the rest years ago. Anyway, they were calling my work telling the call center that they were my attorney and needed to speak with me. . . even call my supervisor. They are from a collection agency. I have already talked to a lawyer who told me to file a complaint with the Federal trade commission and also virginia state bar. ALSO check 888-279-5764 that is another number they call in on.
Thats where you will find my post. . .titled "one step ahead of them". Yesterday they did send me some paper work with the debt but no real proof.
The collection agency is Unistates LLC out of New York. Obviously this attorney is letting these people use his office/name. . .From what i can find out about Unistates that are horrible. - ABC| 3 repliesLast-ditch collector. Expect problems. Send do-not-call request to following address.

- colo.girl replies to ABC| 2 repliesI was gettin calls too; received a letter first I called it to find out what it was and was leary then. She called me back (they must have caller ID) and I immediately called back. She Ms. Sprately was upset that I was asking too many questions and actually hung up on me! I called back and she yelled...eventually she even cursed. I have never encountered a law firm that has "assistants" who cuss, yell and scream....this scream scam!

People need to read the FDCPA....now THAT'S sound information. - TJB| 1 replyI keep getting robo calls leaving messages in my voice mail. Every day for someone who does not live here. I finally had enough and called the number: 1-888-279-5761 informing them that the person they call for does not live here and to please stop calling. First the rude woman said they had not called. I informed her I had her number on my caller ID numerous times and many recorded messages. Then she said my number was listed as a possible contact number. I told her to please stop calling my number and leaving harrassing messages. She got ruder. I asked for the address there and she refused and got nastier.
