I received a letter too. I was skeptical at first but after I called them, I found out that they offer to keep coverage on my vehicle after my factory warranty expires. Sounds like a good deal for most people but I usually get a new car every 3 years so I passed up on their offer... At least they were nice on the phone and not too pushy with me.

This is a scam, do not ever pay money for any auto warranty unless it is directly from the dealer.  Check the Internet and you will see exactly what I mean.  Again, this is a scam. DO NOT SIGN UP unless you either are contacted directly from a car dealership or YOU call a car dealership to verify.

Request from unknown company with no return address, claiming to be able to extend my warranty on my car. Make of car was TYPED in, so it could be sent to any car owner. Fine print says it may have been sent to me from one of a number of companies. Yeah, right!

That are a third party vehicle Warranty seller. Stay clear of this if you want a vehicle Warranty  get the factory for whatever brand you drive if you want vehicle Warranty. I live in Louisiana and buy three new vehicle  every 3-4 years but LDS if you want to finance it with the vehicle. But if you want on do not use these people, we Dodge/RAM sometimes I get the LDS one from the dealership or after the sale get one from Mopar, you THEM once they will call you back and you can get a 7 year 100,000 factory for 1700$ or less  100 deductible bumper to bumper. And also they will often give you a two year zero interest  24 months to pay it off if you get it in the first year or so. I like the LDS for I know they will pay I have lemon 19 dealer visit one ticket 9,875$ and that paid and PAID for the rental for 15 days. Not sure is LDS is available in other states but I know LDS and MOPAR WILL stand behind your vehicle.

Also these people send me several a month for vehicles I traded in over a year ago. And every vehicle I own has a 100,000 warranty already on them. I do the warrantys just given we put 30-35 thousand miles a year so the vehicle is out of warranty after 12-13 months most factory. Warrantys will even offer a 120,000  bumber to number coverage and even 150,000 power train warranty.

Good advice about dealership if you want to finance the warranty in the loan. However, it is  safety to  buy a warranty directly from vehicle manufacturers on your own and you will pay less. A warranty is called a back end Sale and there is alot of profit for the dealer, example dealership  MOPAR warranty $2,800 100,000 5 years 200$ deductible. Send Chrysler an email about a warranty called back offered $1,700 100,000 7 year 100$ deductible and offered a 24 months zero interest payment plan. That is a $1,100 savings and a better warranty. This last time I got the second dodge I own for $1,200 for multiple car discount. And this came with oil changes and all you do is bring it to dealership service department and that already have the info for it is a factory warranty. l have also done this with Nissan and Ford once.

Your post is a little hard to understand but it appears you're saying we should trust some random company spamming our mailboxes for an auto warranty? I don't think so.

I just got one of these letters with a phone number of 1-877-877-2952  from S. Services - Coverage Division. I wrote them a not on it and sent it back to them. I searched for the address on Google Maps and did a street view...it looks like an apartment building. Also googled the phone number that doesn't come up with anything except (toll free number). I think its a scam...and I bought the extended warranty when I bought my vehicle...

Car has less than 500 miles--just purchased. If I was going to buy an additional warranty, I would get from Ford, not you morons! Take your "immediate response request" and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

I just got a later after purchasing a new vehicle.

The number on this letter was 1-877-427-1524

The "deadline" (pressure sell technique) is 5/25/2017.  Why there's such short deadline  for a warranty extension (through 2022) beyond the standard vehicle warranty (8 yrs or 100,000 miles from now) makes no sense.  How many people really feel the need to extend their warranty a month after they buy a new car?  There must be some takers - otherwise, why would these people be sending out such letters for so long unless _someone_ is biting the hook?  Strange.

No idea what their terms are - or their financial viability (even if they _are_ legitimate, what if I need to take advantage of the "so-called" extended warranty 8 year from now - will they still be around?  able to pay for my broken transmission or whatever?).  Again, I can't see why any remotely rational person would sign up for this let alone bother to even call them.

Address is 8824 Bronx Ave, Skokie, IL 60077.  Anyone here live in Skokie?  Put a picture up on Yelp - they don't have an entry yet!!  ;)
