This guy named Demetrie keeps calling and theatening that the "state of texas" has a case against me????  He left the same 888-289-7568 said I need to call because he has officially served me, but keeps calling.  If he has officially served me as he claims he has then why does he keep calling repeating the same thing and if officialy why don't they mail a legal document or letter stating what they claim they are doing instead of using the phone to harras people.  If they threaten to come to my job we will contact the police and also our building security as they have to have permission from the employer to serve you at your place of business.  

They are cowards even if legit.  A private number comes up on my cell phone(not a actual number) so that you canot block it as a 10 digit number is required.

keeps calling my mom and my number claiming they have an order and going to press charges for some order

I thought this company was a scam but 2 weeks after the call the Police Department came to my house and delivered me a summons. I wish I would have listened.

They did the same thing to me. Called my mom and totally freaked her out.

One of my friends received the same call from 888-289-7568, about two weeks ago, stating that a law enforcement agent was en route to his house to arrest him for an "outstanding loan!"  He spoke with a "Ryan."  The "company" refused to give their address.  They gave my friend a "case number," as well.  A complaint will be filed.  Thank you for the information regarding "B.O.R. Mediation Corporation Company!"

They have a new phone number 855-680-7082. They are trying to collect on a debt that has already been dissolved in my bankruptcy... Now call me one more time and treating me for!

These guys are nasty and they are liars! The same person called me from several different fake phone numbers and he used different names each time. The first time he called around trying to reach me he said his name was Robert. The second time he contacted me he said his name was MarKus Keating and that he was a private investigator hired by the company I owed a legitimate debt to which was Cutter group. He didn't specify the details. I found out after I called the number Robert/MarKus provided, and I made a payment arrangement with the service so that my debt could be settled. Before this guy finally reached me, he called my job and harassed my bosses. He also found my Facebook account and contacted my friends on their phones while trying to get in touch with me. To accomplish that he sent me a friend request in which his profile picture indicated he was an old lady. I put two and together when I found out he got my sister in law to forward the message to me, I instantly knew he got her phone number from Facebook. And so for preventative measure to ensure my friends and I cannot be contacted by these people, I logged into Facebook and I set my friends list to private as I also deCided to never accept friend requests and phone calls from unknown or strange phone numbers. This guy called me at 615am this morning under yet another name and fake phone number just to remind me about my payment arrangement. They are sooooooo nasty andhorrible liars! Set your Facebook accounts to private and only answer calls from people and phone numbers you know personally.

So.. The address 4350 seneca is not a real address. Looked up under Erie county real estate website. . There is a 4360 seneca west seneca ny.. Which is registered as a small bldg under the name Glenn e fluman.. Which is part of Ebenezer Land's.  Ebenezer address is 4348 seneca and is registered to a William j sahlem. Maybe this is it.. So for all the little bor collectors posting "oooo.. I got served and had to pay.." you will be found. You are breaking the law by not providing written proof of the debt, in some cases you don't even identify yourself or your company. Even by pre-litigation standards there is a protocol to follow, which you are not.. Notice is sent by lawyers which is done in writing, not threatening over the phone. Investigation, demand and settlement /negotiation or mediation to follow but that company doesn't seem to get it.

first of all, you wouldn't be calling anyone a [***] if you were in their face! second of all, it sounds like you work for them!

Looking at all the blogs above it looks like I may have made a mistake by giving information for a company that calls themselves BOR. I'm going to have to contact my credit card company and  get a new card. They are using a new phone number though and still using the same tactics. The number that they used was 1-866-784-0967 ext 535. Some lady called Michele Daniels, and a gentleman whose name I don't recall, and another young lady named Jill. First thing I'd like to know is are they licensed in North Carolina and second, who I contact?

Contact your local attorney general and file a compliant with the CFPB ( Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) . Both will cost you nothing and it could potentially get this company investigated or shut down because they are using abusive debt collection practices. Or you can use a consumer debt collection law attorney as they work on contingency. They state they are a not a debt collector as to try to exempt themselves from the FDCPA but regardless they are not exempted from state collection law by definition which is obvious as they do not give you your miranda rights. Also, They state they are not a debt collector yet threaten to litigate if you do not pay your debt which is defined as a deceptive practice. They also disclose information about your debt to third parties which in most states is an illegal practice.

I got a call from the person "trying" to find me to serve me papers. When they called 1st time said unknown 2nd time was private number. Gave me info to this BOR law firm Chris Collum was the person that sent him out with the papers. But he gave me 888-728-4258 to call n get the info I need. Like some of the other post I saw they do not speak very professional like. Its like they drag their words. I was on the verge of getting the money I need to stay out of trouble til my aunt informed me its not legal. They are just using a scare tactic on me.

Phony Debt Collection Extortionists can gain access to the fact that you have or once had a loan. That is why they have knowledge of loans, but will not validate that they purchased it. Because they did not. They are simple thieves and predators who roam the earth like wolves seeking to devour the weak. But once the grave consumes them, they will seek relief and not find it, they will burn forever.

I rcvd a call threatening to serve papers and then was given a number to call. When i called they had address and other information incorrect and then stated that i had an outstanding loan from years ago.when asked them their information such as address they said they could not give that information. I am not sure what to do at this point, they have even resorted to calling people who have been personal references for other loans. how do they get this information?
