Called my cell asking for an office manager wouldn't give any information at all.  Had my correct address and stated they would be there within the hour.  Left work to meet them and miraculously they never showed up.  I did have a pdl years ago but payed it off.  Biggest mistake I ever made.  Called from unknown and private lines telling me to call. "They wouldnt have an 800 number if they werent real!" - that's gotta be one of the dumbest things I have read on this site, and I've read plenty.  Any person, whether they are a scammer or not, can get a toll-free number.  Anyone can also SPOOF any number if they have the technology.  Having a toll-free number does not prove that they are law-abiding.

No debt validation = no debt owed.  You are legally required to PROVE the person owes the debt.  Follow the FDCPA, scammer!

well they called me looking for a family member i did not give no information ( but the bor firm  changed their number it is now 800-975-0715 but the same company ) and how they got my number for this family member it unknown to me but now that i read all the reports on here abought them i will turn them in to law enforcement in the state of Washington it is a crime

My wife received an EXTREMELY rude and hateful message from this company stating that I have a claim against me, and that I needed to call them back to settle the matter. I then found out that the same hateful woman called both of my parents, 4 of my friends, and my wife with the same hateful message. "Mr. Russell, you have been warned." I called the number back and was referred to the manager, "Jordan" who informed me the business was in Atlanta, GA. (they are located in Seneca, NY) He told me that in 2008 I took out a payday loan in Richmond, VA and that loan is in default, in the amount of 545.00 dollars. He informed me that he would offer right then and there a 200.00 settlement if I provided him with my debit card number, which I will not. I told him I would return his call on Monday. Now - the problem... I payed ALL of my payday loans that were ever taken out, AND I never took one out in VA. But the kicker is this: I was incarcerated in 2008! So, I never took out this supposed loan of 375.00 plus "late fees" which brought the amount to 545.00. This "Jordan" could not give me an exact address of the loan place, or a date that the supposed loan was taken out, I am filing a report of harassment with the local Sheriff's Department, and will be sending them a CEASE AND DESIST letter certified mail with delivery confirmation. I will also let "Jordan" know that he may "serve me with papers," which was one of his threats to me yesterday.

I have received several calls today from BOR 888-824-9112 and they are calling several departments within my medical organization, even people that I don't know but find me in the directory and have been calling to let me know that they are harrassing employees within my organization along with my family.  I don't know who these people are.  I never received a collection notice for anything.  I would like to send a Cease & Desist letter but every time I call they will not give me info for an address or a fax number.  I hope someone can help me!  Thanks.

I started getting calls from a group with a blocked number. The guy told me his name was Tim Baker and to call 844-647-7508. He couldn't give me any information other than they were serving my boyfriend legal papers and that there were allegations against him. I called the number and they wanted me to get a prepaid debit card and send them 600 dollars. The first day they told me they were a law firm. The second day when we asked them to identify the law firm they work for they told us they weren't a  law firm. They kept telling me that someone would be out to serve papers for fraud. I told them we had called the place they were claiming the debt was from and they informed me there were several fraud collection agencies out there claiming to be collecting for them. When they couldn't tell me what BOR stood for or where they were located I told them if they needed to contact us again we would meet them at the sheriffs office or just see them in court.

no they are NOT. I went into the bbb and they said the address is not legit, and no such number. There have been many, many complaints on them. It is a scam. I reported them to the Attorney Generals Office and was told they are a scam also. So don't know were you got your info. Recheck it

I was contacted by this Bor LLC in December 2013, they told me I owed for a loan I received. around that time I was trying to clean up my credit, so I set up a payment plan.  The payments have been coming out under the name BOC LLC with a phone number  855-236-0113.  my bank did  not have much information the first time I called I got a recording left a message and got no return call, I called again yesterday 3/25/14 left a msg that if I don't get a call back I would have the payments stopped I receive a call today telling me it was a pay day loan that I never paid. I called my bank they gave me another number 855 236 9355 I called and they were Crown Financial Ministries. I found this site on the web with the name of a BOR collection agency with a number of 800 940 9169 and what do you know, THEY'RE THE SAME COMPANY so now I am confused, I quested why the name on my account was BOC and this number is BOR they gave me some line about name being different do to the different departments  (WTF) So I told them payments have been stopped and if they go into my account again I will bring legal action against them.  I also told them if something was sent to me showing this was indeed something I owed, I would resume payments, he then told me that his boss was big on go green and don't send out mail .  I replied "well you have been warned"   There also is nothing on the BBC regarding this company

Received a call from some losers at BOR 844-647-7515/800-940-9169 trying to intimidate me, family, and work associates into paying up for some fake loan I never took out. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE DEBT COLLECTOR. These idiots threaten to serve you, with what I don't know, they don't give any details and their stupid story does not make any logical sense. Hey idiots at BOR, your parents must be so proud of what you've done with your life. Go die in a fire.

I've been asking that of The One Percent and the big box banks who gambled away a stable economy. When our grandchildren speak of "the fall of America" they will cite AIG, Bank of America, Barclays, Bear Stearns, CitiGroup, Countrywide, Deutsche Bank, Enron, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Magnetar Capital, Merril Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland, Washington Mutual, et al, and also MERS, Citizens United, and the current SCotUS.

If a company accuses me of owing a debt and breaks every law twice to collect it, I also "have the legal right to sue" and I will see its hide tanned red before it goes on to sucker someone else.

I wish they would stop calling me and my family members.  I asked for docusment showing I owed or anything showing what they claim I owe, nothing.  All they wanted was my info, which I didnt give them.  You claim to have everything on me, so why do you need it?  

I recieved a call from Larry from BOR from # 844-841-4024.  I called and asked for him and was advised that anyone can help him.  As soon as I asked what is BOR, she became rude and stated they were collecting on a past due payday loan that I took out in 2013.  She wanted to confirm an old email address that was compromised thru Google and I had to change it over 4 years ago.  That funds were credited to my bank account on a bank that I have not used for over 4 years either.  When I asked for documents, she said give me your current address so I can send them to you, I said no.  She said hold for the Manager.  I almost hung up when he came on the phone and the first thing he said to me was "this is your account, you took the money and didnt repay it!" I said, excuse me what is your name? who is your boss?  he became irriate with me and started shouting. I told him as of this moment, you will need to cesist and desist all calls to me, my work, any family members or I will contact my attorney.  He said "contact your attorney, you will be sued before you can do anything" I asked him for their address.  He just laughed at me.  Anything I said after that, he just laughed.  I hung up.  I called my attorney and he advised me to try to find a physical address and they will personally track them down, send them a certified cease and desist letter and if they calls continue, they will sue.   OMG! these [***]!

I filed a complaint today after a month of 15 calls a day to my cell, home and husband's phone.

Based on what I've read on some other sites, BOR appears to be some kind of kitchen-table operation involving just a few people.  They are most likely working out of a residence somewhere.  God knows where they get the phone numbers used to call people.  

I was called from 855-845-8507 from a Carl Sampson who said he was 20 minutes away from where I live and was on his way.  If I wasn't home he would go to my supervisor at my job and wait all day. Even gave me a case # but would not email me over verification of a debt.  Said they didn't have to do that.  Only identified themselves as BOR.  Would not give address either.
