Scam ---- period. An attempt to embezzle money from you.

I hate to tell ya...they call you regardless of whether or not you owe money.   We are fortunate in our lives to have no old debt.  None.  Not from an unpaid loan, mortgage,  doctor bill, credit card bill or student loan.   We have been very lucky.   Does that stop them?   Noooooooo!  We started getting calls about 6 years ago from these bottom feeders and most recommendations were to NOT talk to them.   But I wanted the calls to be less intrusive  -  so we got a call blocker.   Gotta love technology.   Don' t listen to the "anon" post about "getting right" with the collector.  Pure BS!!!

Was contacted by a company with this number. They left no message.

These calls are disturbing, dibillitating and not desired...I beg of our Leaders to totally stop such calls They have limited the rings from them to 4 rings allowed, which is a bit helpful  Do No Call  system is not working, even if we continually sign on Do Not Call.  I do not answer unknown callers....please help us by going after the callers

Since they are debt collectors, they are exempt from the Do Not call Registry.

No, the Do Not Call Registry prohibits sales calls. You still may receive political calls, charitable calls, debt collection calls, informational calls, and telephone survey calls.

Call pretty frequently. All reputable debt collectors will leave you a voicemail saying who they are, you call them back and resolve the issue. The fact that no voicemail is left is a give away it is not on the up and up.

Called at 12:58 am. It is illegal to call befire 8 am and after 9 pm.

I got a call from this number, they called my business contact I leave on my voicemail instead of leaving an actual voicemail on my line.  They referred to me by name, I called the number they left with my business associate and they said I had a Mastercard outstanding amounting to more than $2000 they were collecting.  They had my name, my SS# and my address.   Said they have mailed me notices, I have received no notices.  While I was on the phone I brought up my actual mastercard acct and credit report.  I have Zero delinquencies, Zero inquiries, and 100% pay on time for the entire credit report, the man I was talking to could not understand that and got belligerent.  That's when I hung up.  This seems to be a scam, do not call back or answer!

Robo call that starts with "This is an attempt to collect a Debt", they are on my blocked list. I will not answer. I have the Spam Blocker on, at least most of the scammers show up as suspected spam. I go to this site to see any comments about the number, 99% of the time the number has multiple comments. This is a great way to share. Maybe someone in the Government will access this site and see how many of us is trying to STOP spam.

Gotta love robo debt collection calls. I have nearly zero credit card debt, never been late on my mortgage, student loans paid without skipping a beat, and utilities always get paid. For any "collection" company to be calling me is a flat out fraudulent scheme. Also, iPhone oddly can't dismiss this number when it rings, but regular calls it can???? Put this number on block as soon as you first see it.
