Have received several calls from this phone number and upon googling the number, realize it's from a collection agency I have never heard of.  Also, I owe no past due amounts so there is no reason for a collection agency to be calling me.  I realize that several people are complaining about a Steven Brown.  I have, in the past, received several messages from this person asking for a return phone call but never bothering to identify what company he is calling from.  I WANT THESE CALLS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY!!!

I keep getting calls from a Steven (Stephen?) Brown, asking me to call 888-306-0431 and talk with a representative.  Never any mention of who he is representing.  Caller ID just shows TOLL FREE.

I want the calls to stop!

This guy Steve Brown calls and leaves the number 888-306-0431. The shows as unknown so it goes to voicemail as I don't answer calls from hidden numbers. The message reads as above so I call from the hotel phone to hide MY number. Turns out they're trying to collect on a debt I paid almost ten years ago now. I told the woman to get lost and she hung up. I think this is the same scam that was pulled on a friend of mine a few months ago. They tried to force him to pay on a seven year paid debt. He strung them along while gathering evidence then hit them with a counter suit. He had all of his statements showing a zero balance and hit them with the balance they claimed he owed plus damages. They declared bankruptcy and fled the state.

Oh, and by the way, the complainants above listed the company name as Leading Edge Recovery Services. When I called this evening they said it is National Recovery Services. Sounds like they've changed names again.

This phone number keeps calling saying his name is "Stephen Brown" - Its from an unavailable number, so I do not answer. He leaves a message saying to call back but he doesn't leave a business name or what the message is in regards. I want this to STOP.

Keeping getting calls from Steven Brown, it has been several months. I always forward to voicemail or just answer and hang up.  Very persistent though I am still not answering.

I am only 11 and he calls me everyday! i don't answer and his voicemail thing is half cut off.  its the same number as you and no imformation!

i received this call from 18883060431 and he surely sounded rude. but something about him made me go nuts. His voice!!!! damn. He sounded so good by the end of the conversation he apologized for his harshness and ever since then i cant get him out of my mind!!! is it possible to find love in a situation

I got a new phone number 5 months ago.  I started receiving calls about once a month from this number 888-306-0431 shortly thereafter.  The message repeatedly says, "This is Steven Brown, if you could please return my call at 1(888) 306-0431. Thank you."  Today, after 5 months, I decided to "Google" the number and I found this website 800notes.com.  After reading your comments, I called the number and a woman answered right away and identified the company as Leading Edge Recovery Solutions.  She asked me for my phone number, I gave it to her.  I asked her the name of the person they were trying to reach.  She gave me the name.  I told her it was not me nor anyone else at my number.  She stated she would remove my number from their database. She also told me that "Steven Brown" is just a generic name that their company uses to leave messages.  She did not ask me for any other information.  And she was very professional.  Hope that helps someone.

As soon, as i see this number, I do not answer...But, I am getting tired of them calling me!!!!

I keep getting these calls from 888 306 0549 darrl rose I have told them repeatedly that iam not the person they are seeking but the number keeps calling.

I get an automated message from this number daily saying, "This is Steven Brown, please return the call to 888-XXX-XXXX, to avoid addiitonal fees, please respond ASAP." Like I'm supposed to know who the heck is Steven Brown is! He doesn't say what the call is regarding, who the call is for and what agency they are calling from. Are these people complete idiots or wanna be Federal Agents with their elusive messages....

Called me 10 times this past month, on my cellphone!! Steven Brown should be arrested for Harrassment!!

these pissants are nothing but [***] scammers, tring to get your money, just let them talk to your  3 yr old , he/ she will set them straight. Ha ! Ha ! Ha !

Call the Illinois Attorney General's office (Lisa Madigan), tell them you want to file a formal complaint against Leading Edge, who is harassing you on the telephone. They will take your contact information, and send you a form to fill out.

This company (Leading Edge Recovery Solutions) engages in unlawful harassment over the telephone, and a lawsuit has been filed against them.

Please file a formal complaint against this company; it is the only way to take them out.

We have no idea who Steven Brown is or why he is calling.  We have been getting calls for several different people who do not even live here and who we do not know.  We will not answer a call from someone we do not know or who will not state their business!

These people have been calling my cell phone number continuously since January (it is now the end of April). They call 3-4 times a day on weekdays and weekends. I have never answered the calls since I do not recognize the phone number. Now they are leaving voice mail messages saying to call Vincent Grey at that 1-888-306-0431 phone number. I do not have any outstanding debt and have not been late paying any bills. The only people who have access to my cell phone number are family members and personal friends, I never list it as a contact number for anything else. Today they caught me in a bad mood and I was ready to tell them off, I picked up the phone and no one was there.

Just got a robo call from Steven Brown. He did not identify the company.  Don't know him, hung up.  Waiting to see if calls continue.
