who ever these clowns are should be turned into the the goverment agency for proscution and a fined so they will have to go out of business. i don't why they keep calling every one in my faimly. asking for someone who hasn't been around for more than fifteen years.

I keep receiving calls from this number and ?? not sure who they are after.

So far I have received 2 calls on my cell phone from Steven Brown asking me to press 1 to connect with an agent or call him back at 1 888-306-0431. Needless to say, I have complied with neither of his demands!!-----this cell phone is off 98% of the time so I couldn't press 1 if I wanted to. AND I AM NOT ABOUT TO CALL SOME STRANGE PERSON BACK without having some idea of why they are calling me!!! and since I am on vacation I don't check the incoming calls on that cell phone oftener than once every 2-3 wks! If they get no response, perhaps they will get discouraged enough to quit calling!!

Hey i had his number call me like over 100 times... i talked to a lady when i finally decided to call back ... iwas tiered of  the steven brown calls.. come to find out they were looking for someone called Jason Paul.. not me so they took my number off the list.. as of 6/24/10.. i will post back if they call me again!

I have received a half-dozen messages from this "Steven Brown" person on my answering machine.  Often, his message is partway through by the time my machine starts recording, so I only get part of it.  I did finally hear on the message that I can press some button to interrupt his recording and be transferred to a person.  In other words, he doesn't even have the time to actually leave his own message but has a recording do it for him.  Whatever.  Anyway, he never says who he is trying to reach or why he is calling. I'm not sure why ANYONE would return a call that is not specifically addressed to a person who actually resides in their home.  And we used to get calls from various collection agents for someone named Jennifer that I guess once owned (or just gave out) our phone number.  We have no debts and certainly no unpaid debts, so Steven Brown's recording can just keep calling I guess.

I used to get phone calls too from this number, and they don't leave a message either. I called up the same number and they have promised to remove mine from their records. Hope I will not get any more calls.

I never picked up the phone though they are annoying.

Make this guy stop.  It's nonstop now for about 2 months...every day.  I get collection calls for people who have evidently used my phone number in the past!  Very strange!  I will never dial this or any number back that I do not know or who cannot properly identify me.

I receive approxomately 3-4 calls per day from Steven Brown at 888-306-0431.  Once in a while they leave a message but for the most part just call and hang up.  I do not know who they are and what company they represent-they NEVER advise who they are representing.  As I do not recognize the telephone number I will not pick up the call.  These calls MUST be stopped!  I am on the no-call list so should not be receiving these calls.

The guy calling me is VINCENT GRAY!    Have not answered, but he mentions NOTHING in the messages that ring a bell with me.  Not even my name!

It would appear to me, Leading Edge Recovery Solutions either does not know the FCC rules or chooes to ignore them.
FCC says that a company cannot use Automatic Dialers when calling Wireless because there are charges to the consumer. In my case, Leading Edge Recovery Solutions is trying to contact someone who apparently listed my number. I have "owned" this number for 4 years.
I explained to the Supervisor that FCC states the Automatic Dialer cannot be used. The Supervisor said that according to Federal Law, the Debt Collection Company can call any number listed in their records using any method they choose.
I am amazed that a legitimate company would not verify that the number they are calling belongs to the person trying to be contacted. Maybe if the Debor is in Springfield, the Automatic Dialer can call every phone number in Springfield.
I understand collecting a debt but some research is needed by the company.

I also get these calls just like all of these messages above.  I totally agree with all of you.  I too am a single mother with an abusive exhusband and I do not intend on answering these calls.  I am thinking of emailing to get them to stop but what if they hack into my email too.  I am sick of these calls and it is very frustrating.  Don't know what to do...

Why this isn't illegal is a mystery to me. Same old story here, with "Vincent Grey" leaving the rare message. Have had "Steven Brown" often as well. Honestly, I've gotten so used to it, as this has been happening for a number of years now. We mostly hit 'ignore' or pick up/hang up quick. The fact that this is on my cell phone, and that I have put my number on the do-not-call list before, irks me. The fact that my 8 month old daughter might be disturbed from her sleep by these calls at literally all times of day and night...that starts to piss me off. I worked once as a fundraiser for my university, calling alumni for donations, so I try to be understanding to some telemarketers or campaign fundraisers. But this is on a completely different level, bordering serious harassment. If any stranger--hell, anyone you know--called you this incessantly, you would be able to call the cops and file a complaint. But because it's a sham company, it's somehow protected under a free market? This cannot be legal.
