- Nobodyishere| 2 repliesWhen this so called Collection Agency called 18/06/09 the women became quite upset when I said that the person that she want did not live here. According to her this person left my phone number and that she had legal papers to prove it. I said take those so called legal papers a stuff them where the sun don't shine and further more frigg right off. She hung up.
- biggleasI've received some calls from this number as well, and all I get is a recording asking me to hold. I don't live in Canada and never have, so it concerns me that a Canadian phone company might think I have an account with them.
- NobodyishereHere we go again a prerecorded message telling us to mall them back. What a bunch of crap..!!

- AdamThis number kept calling my cell phone and leaving a voice mail saying to "please wait" and would just put me on hold, or it would say I have an outstanding balance on an account. I don't know who they are or what they wanted, but I called them back and flipped out. Just tell them the number they keep calling and they will stop.
- LondonThese people have called me so many times that I just save their number on my contact list just so I can ignore their calls. When I dont pick up they leave a message on voicemail saying that they're from Rogers and that I have an oustanding balance on my account and to call them back. Obviously its a hoax and today I got fed up and called them. I AM LIVID WITH THESE PEOPLE. I figured, the person answering the phone just worked there so no need to be angry with them and I explained to them that I am not with Rogers and asked them to stop calling me. They said "this number was given as a contact number for Sophia Wong's contract" and then they went on to say more crap like that. That's when I was fuming and I started giving attitude. It left with the guy saying "enjoy the phone calls" to me. I am currently trying to block their number but the real Rogers is just as useless and annoying.

- NobodyishereAgain 2 calls that are a pre-recorded in minutes. These people must be stopped!!But How?
- Rogers UserI have done the rsearch on this.
It is not Rogers! It is someone scamming to be Rogers.
I am receiving the calls as well and have no outstanding balances with Rogers. I checked with Rogers and they are receiving many complaints but do not yet have a solution.
Do not blame Rogers!
Do not give these callers any info or Money!! - TTVoice message saying "the person who is calling you is busy"
- JayB| 1 replyThsi company is Collection Management Services - they buy what they think is debt from Rogers and harass people assuming that if they call you enough and harass you - you will pay.
They cannot be blocked by call screen and they don't listen to reason. I am not prepared to change my phone number so have referred them to the Better Business Bureau as the business they are cnducting is not debt collection it is pure harassment. Last I checked, harrassing phone calls were a criminal offence - so why do they think they are immune prosecution???
We launched a civil suit against the company after repeatedly contacting the CEO advising him to stop his/her employees harassment - he/she did not listen or act so we will see what happens in court.
What other solution is there?????I bet we can find hundreds of others to attend court with us to prove how much they are harassing and not conducting 'business' per se.- Caller: CMS

- JABell is the service provider allowing these callers to call through on a phone which you pay for. Surely the onus is on Bell to find a way to stop these people from abusing the network legitimate customers are paying for.
Bell is allowing this problem to continue - Bell should be rsponsible for the solution.- Caller: CMA

- mandi| 1 replyi got a call from this number.. they said i have an outstanding balance of $650 which is weird because i was able to recently open a new account with rogers. i told them im not paying the full amount at once, they cut the amount in half and arranged for me to pay it tomorrow.
I was going to pay thru my bank but now i am worried because i recieved a message this morning and they asked me to call them to confirm payment and gave me a reference number.
I called back to confirm gave them the reference number and asked for "matt" who had left me the message.
they had nothing under my name, and there was no matt.
He told me it was because rogers collections was in a different office, but thats the number they called me from, and thats the number "matt" told me to call back
all a bit confusing i know.
what should i do ?- Call type: Debt collector
- SueThey call me every couple months either at work or at home, claiming I have an outstanding account with Rogers. Each time they call I ask them to send the paperwork showing what I owe. I never receive anything. I had a Roger's cell phone years ago and to the best of my knowlege it was paid. I've checked my credit history and it's clean. Just frustrating that it continues to crop up every few months. The lady that calls is verbally abusive in MHO.

- JenI've had this number call me several times a day for the past month! The voice recording said to they were calling on behalf of my outstanding rogers account (which I don't have) and to call back their 1-888-332-2284 number. I finally became so frustrated that I called back and was quickly connected to a lady. She asked if my cell number was for a name that I had never heard of. I told her this and her only response was 'okay' and then hung up. I'll let you know if they call back again. I can only assume...

- suzanam absolutely fed up with this annoying b***h calling me. The other morning the calls started at 7:20 a.m. amd continued 3 more times before 8 a.m. Then throughout the day she called, and once more at night. Every day I get these calls.Bell is the service provider allowing these callers to call through on a phone which you pay for. - James T. LaingThis a collection agency. And as we all know, collection agents are the lowest scum there is. But I know how to deal with these motherf*ckers. I'm a Sask-Tel customer, and they have two excellent services: A Selective Call Reject, which I just added their number to, and B Block the Blocker, which automatically blocks any private name/private number calls. These two services are only a couple of bucks a month, but well worth it.

- JMI have had the exact same situation with this number and threatening message appear on my cellphone countless times throughout the past three years!!! I am so fed up with these idiots and can't even block their number(s)! They claim to be from the so-called Collection Management Services through Rogers which in my research does NOT exist.

- My Bill is (and always has been) Paid!My boyfriend and I have been on a Rogers Couples plan for over a year now, and we have it set up to automatically get paid. Today I received a call from this number claiming that I have an outstanding Rogers account balance. Naturally I panicked and got my boyfriend to double check all of our bills and balances. We have absolutely nothing due, and to top it off we have never missed a bill. We sent Rogers an email regarding this, hopefully they will eventually take some sort of action against this number.

- Mur| 1 replyI called Rogers about this when I got the first call about a month ago. They confirmed that my account was in good standing, and "escalated" it to see if they could figure out what was happening. They were not even able to tell me whether this company (which identifies itself as Contact Resource Services) is actually a company they deal with. When I mentioned that I was still receiving calls and texts for the previous owner of this number after more than a year, they said it was possible that it is the previous owner that has the outstanding account, and that if she had only provided the one number as a contact, it is possible they would be calling for her.
