- GregI had a feeling this was a scam and asked for the number to call back. I seached for the number and this info page came up. The banks don't want to lower your rate unless you ask them.

- JaydeeMan, those people were really, really aggressive. That was more of a red flag than anything else. Another red flag was that Eric Hamet (my 'representative'..haha) gave me his extension and it happened to be my area code. I confirmed my second 4 digits but then smelled a rat. I hung up and a woman called me back and was even more aggressive to the point of nearly shouting. BUH BYE

- LOThis company just called claiming to be VISA, and they wanted to lower my interest rate, they had all my information and just wanted to verify it so they can lower it. I gave them my expiration date, but when he asked for my account number i said, no you called me i am never to give that out, what is your number and I will call you back - he gave me this 888 - 333- 3857. He then became irritated that i wouldnt give him my account number and said, oh this whole interest rate will be cancelled if you dont verify the account number, he kept saying give me your account number starting with 4 - as if that was supposed to mean he had my account number, but i learned all visa accounts start with 4 - so this is a scam and I wish someone coudl do something about it.
