I received the same message. Knew right away it was a scam of some kind. called my friend whose name was mentioned and she is calling them back immediately. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE CALLS.....DO NOT CALL BACK!!!!!!!!

This company keeps calling asking for someone other than who it is. Sounds fraudulent.

I received a call today left on my home line. West lake Financial services...to call back immediately...I guy named "Ricardo."  I have received this call before.  I did not call back.

This is Westlake Financial- an auto finance company.  They have several phone numbers they call from and start calling the day someone's payment is late.

Caller ID read '800 Service'. No message left on answering machine.

Westlake Financial:  The absolute SCUM of SCUM in financing deadbeat, no-credit having used car buyers.  If you are dumb enough to get financed by these scumbags, you deserver the insane financial raping you get.

Guys, despite the fact that many people here are saying with certainty that this is a scam, it is in no way a scam. They are simply a legitimate loan company who services people with low credit scores. All companies who provide loans for people with low credit scores require a minimum of 5 "references" from the customer, who they then use as a secondary method of getting in touch with the customer if their loan payment is late and they don't answer the phone after 3 calls. I am telling you this from first hand experience, as I previously had a car loan with them when my credit score wasn't good enough to get the loan from my credit union. Another stipulation of this company, since they are providing a loan to a high risk customer, is that if the bill is any more than 24 hours late, they would start calling me once an hour. Since i was at work and could not answer, by the time the work day was over, all 5 of my "references" had already been constacted since I "ignored" at least 3 calls. My best friend, my brother, my 2 sisters in law and my cousin would all text me letting me know that Westlake Financial called until they realized they would call  any month that I didn't pay by the morning after my loan was due, ( I always had to wait till the Wednesday my pay went into my account and every now and then the bill came due either Monday or Tuesday before I could pay it)....anyway, just letting everyone know that no, it is not a scam or some ploy to get people to call back and then try to sell them loans lol, they are a loan company for low credit score consumers and so have extraordinary procedures for bill collection

It's pretty insulting that you refer to people, which according to you includes myself, as a dumb, deadbeat scumbag. You don't know everyone's situation and so generalizing like this actually makes you dumb, not me. I think their company sucks, yes, but I was forced to get a loan from them after getting my second masters degree and having an impossible time paying all my different student loans, and my credit score got pretty low for a few years in my mid twenties. Anyway, just saying that's super rude and your comment was irrelevant to simply finding out who this company is, and unnecessary coming from an adult

The reason  no one,.like the FBI, was a of any help, is because ita not a scam company at all, it's a car loan company who services people with lower credit scores. I had my loan with them years ago when I was paying off two masters degree student loans and couldn't keep up. They require you to give 5 refernces who they then contact if the customer is more than 24 hours late on the bill and doesn't answer their phone after 3 calls. But they've always had a legitimately registered name and are not a scam company nor do they go in people's accounts or anything else lol

Call was for one of our employees.  Savannah identified she was with Westlake Financial and need him to call her back.  Our employee indicated he already paid his loan off so he does not know why they are calling.

Background noise and then dial tone. Now blocked.

Called 4-5 times. No voicemail left. Call #6 left a voicemail. It was a radio playing in the background, and general background noise

Guy called asking for a Raoul Romen never heard of the name and have had my cell # for over 15 years. Wouldn't say the company he was calling from when asked. Added the number to the long list of blocked numbers on my cell. Wish our government would grow a backbone and do something about these callers from other countries.

Westlake Financial is in California and they make auto loans. If you default on your loan their going to call you.

Harassing debtor.  Low income car loan lender

My previous car loan is paid off and my current car loan is up to date. I don't even have a car loan with this company, so I have no idea why they are calling me. They left no voicemail.
