several calls

They left a message thanking me for donating blood.

I received the first call from this number on June 27th, 2009 at 11:30AM.
I've gotten nine additionals calls since then.  The most recent one was
today.  The calls have all been made aroung 10AM to 2PM (PST) except for
one call that was made around 8:40PM.  Not sure if that matters.
The phone number isn't blocked on my Caller ID but I haven't answered a
single call since no voicemail messages have ever been left.

Got one. The woman left a voicemail, but she did not speak clearly, so not sure what it was about.

This is the blood center.  If you are getting a call from them it means you have given blood and they want you to come back and give some more.  I kindly asked them to remove my name from their list and they were kind and said they would.  However I still get calls every few months.

I donated some blood to do a good deed, and now in return I keep getting these phone calls at odd hours of the day.  They never leave a voicemail either.

They'll give me a reprieve for a couple of months if I donate some more blood.  They think that the best way to get people to donate more blood is to harass them, and then they wonder why they can't get enough people willing to help them.

Stupid, idiotic management, systematically turning away good-willed volunteers.  Apparently in desperation they drained the blood out of their own brains.

I have told them four times to stop calling me, and that I donate blood at Stanford now. But they will not stop calling. I get called late at night every other day or so. Often when I answer, there isn't even anyone on the phone. They never leave voicemails either.

I keep getting phone calls from them every other day at strange hours, usually after 8pm. A few weeks ago i called and left a voicemail for a supervisor telling them I could no longer donate blood since because I've had sexual contact with another man (which bans you from donating blood for life). Somehow the calls still continue, which is ridiculous. Sigh.

Today they called and said, "We noticed you are on our Do Not Call List, so we wanted to ..." I stopped the girl right there and said, "I meant it. Do not call me. I can't donate. Remove me permanently from your list, like I told you last time and the time before. Stop harassing me!" Let's see how long until they call me again...

This is a calling service contracted by Blood Centers of the Pacific.  The "operators" are paid for every person who answers and agrees to make an appointment to donate.

I get a call from this number 888-393-5483 at least 3 or more times a month. I don't answer it and they never leave a VM. Once in a while I will answer and it is blood donation center. The last time I donated blood was almost 3 years ago but I am not sure if it was through this blood center because it was done at my work office. I told them many times before that I do not want to donate any more blood but they keep calling. I want to block their number on my iPhone but I do not know how. I hope they leave me alone and I am going to try and put them on the national do not call list.

They called again yesterday, 10/2/12. I didn't know they called since my phone was outside and I was in my room but when I checked my phone, I saw that I got a missed call from them. What does it take to have these people leave me alone??? I actually added this number on my cell and named it "Blood Donation" so when they do call, I know just to ignore the call right away. Next time if I am not busy doing something, I am going to answer the call and tell them straight up, "Listen, you have been calling multiple times and I would like for you to stop. If you don't I will report you to my local police agency for harassment. I also have friends who are in the police force and I will let them know as well. this is your final warning" then i'm going to hang up on them. HA! It might or might not defer them from calling me again. We shall see.

Received E-mail that said:   "You sent a payment of $550.00 USD to Norton 360 from PayPal account.
If you didn’t authorize the transaction please contact us at +1(888) 899-4483".  A Scam! I didn't buy product and transaction is not registered on PayPal account.  Don't call the number.
