Appears to be a scam. They called from a restricted number which I did not answer. They somehow got in touch with my son, who lives out of state, and stated I needed to call their number and gave him a reference number to pass on to me. They told him that I would be served with court papers from my County (correct county that I live) if I did not call within 48 hours. I immediately called this number and gave the reference number. The man who answered the phone stated that he wouldn't divulge any info about this, until I verified my personal information. I refused and he became very rude. He said good luck in court, you're gonna need it. I will wait and see if I get any court papers.

I received the same call, they said I was going to get served.   When O ask what it was about he said to call 8883951267 and give them a reference number he gave me.  O am afraid to call the 888 number.  I have a weird feeling about the call

I received the exact  thing last night. They contacted a family member to get to me. Unbelievable!!!! Their technics are becoming more sophisticated to trick people & many will become victims if not aware of these tactics. The female became extremely rude when I would not verify SSN. I try & keep up on phone scams but this was definitely at another level. I immediately called LifeLock & reported the incident. Thank goodness I’ve had their service for some years. This was a reminder of money well spent.

I just got the same call and my husband saying they have county forms for me with reference number I looked up the number and found many getting the same call

I got a call from a restricted number. They gave me this number and a reference number to give them. About an account I no longer use from a bank. That is sueing me but they could not help me without a down payment.
