Received a call at work that I was being summons to appear in Court for not paying an internet loan.  The company that the "caller" represents is the Vandelier Group.  This company fraudently took money out of my bank account and I reported it to my bank. I did get the money back from my bank and he called to say I was being served papers to appear in court.  When I asked him to provide me with documentation of my "alleged" loan documents, so I could see my signature, he got annoyed and said any time you apply for a loan over the internet, a signature is not required.

I asked him his name again and he said Dan Kelly and provided this 888-414-2697number.  He grew very agitated that I started asking "him" questions and he said "do I sound like I am stuttering" are you going to take my number?  Are you going to take my number down?  I told him I did not like his tone and he said he was not here for my interests but the interests of the company he represents, Vandelier Group.  He supposedly is a debt collector from Jackson Greenberg Associates.  I Asked where he was calling from and he said New York.

Do not let this gentlemen bully you.  He calls at work and at my home.

Debra [last name removed], stop wasting your time on this website and pay your bills... people who take out a loan and refuse to pay them back are thieves.

The name should say it all.  Mr. Kelly first grow up.  Second, I would contact your states Attorney General's office and begin the process of filing a complaint.  There are laws that protect consumers, while yes you do owe the principal and some reasonable interest, there are proper legitimate ways to collect debts and the response on this site is only not professional it is not what a legitimate collection would do.

The  same guy. Called me today  as well as a rick collins and they claimed  to be detectives. FoR the. DePartment of treasury. SaId  I had to pay them so much money today or I  would go to jail.  They then. Called. My work too threatening me there. And saying they were going to get me fired and couldn't waite. To see me in jail. I called the us dept. Of treasury and they said they don't know who these people are and they most. Definently do not put people in jail for payday loans. They said these people are imPersinating. Us officials anD to get there number and name and the atterny generals office. To report. Them for fraud.

I received the same call today from the same people, but this man name was "Detective Rick". He explained everything to me and i told him i was going to call him back to give him me credit card number. Well i called and "Dan Kelly" answered the phone. I told him my bank said they needed the name of the compnay so if the funds are not available they will overdraft my account. Dan Kelly then said he was from Jackson Greenburg and associates in New York and i need to give him the info. I than told him, my attorney will conatct you and he hung up....They are frauds so please watch out. The number they called from was 888-414-2697 x 102

No I am not the same Debra who originally posted this but this same Rick Collins/Ton Lantry/Mike Carter/Dan Kelly whichever name he is going by today has no right with this b.s. and you that are saying to pay your bills well you know what you don't know what type of situations happen like your husband being involved in a head on collision while on the job and was NOT his fault and taking him out of the working pool shortly after the loan was taking out. You don't know peoples circumstances like having a baby 3 months premature and getting in over your head with gas and medical bills. Don't judge unless you know the story and some of us try to make it right like thinking your using a lefit consolidation company to combine your bills only to find out years later this company that you paid $2000 to was also a scam so don't sit there judging when you don't know.

It is not illegal to get a payday loan and it is NOT illegal to use a consolidaition company to settle the debt. Even if we did get taken for $2000 I still have all the printed contracts and letters I sent out to all my debtors saying to cease all contact with me and start calling PDL...I was trying to do the right thing. If you really wanted $, and if you were really a debt collector you sure wouldn't  be talking to people the way you do, especially not my local chief of police like you did when he called you. All you want to do is embarass people well guess what, everybody I know already knows our story and what happened so go bother somebody else. You are a scam, your coming to get me tomorrow huh? Just like you were 3 weeks ago and thats why you told my coworker you were Tom Lantry but answered the phone Rick Collins??? My local pd has asked me to let them trace the call from my work because you peeved off the chief. So you know what I have my local pd on my side as well as the people you are slandering me too I have voice mails from you and witnesses including the chief of police. You are the jerk taking peoples money, why haven't I received 1 piece of mail from you? Why? Oh because your a scam!!!!! Using poeples down falls against them, which I did nothing illegal....I think maybe YOU need to look up the meaning of FRAUD!!!!

I have a job thank you!!!! Just saying when you are used to having 2 income for 20+ years and all of a sudden OUT OF YOUR CONTROL something happens and you lose one income. My husband is on medical restrictions for the rest of his life thank you very much...so don't judge when you don't know.

Ok people these are bogus calls. I spoke to a police officer and he told me that whatever county you live in they will NOT call you to warn you about files being downloaded into your counties database and they will NEVER forewarn you they are coming to arrest you in a couple of days. No officers in this life time will tell you they have a warrant for your arrest.. They would just come and arrest you.. This is the 3rd phone call I have gotten from different numbers and names.. They are big time scam artists so never give your info to them at all or they will wipe your account clean..These two bit losers need to find a REAL job and stop stealing from hardworking people!!! These people only call when you apply for a loan and don't even take it I did that but never received a loan I went to a reputable company instead that I pay every other week on time. My biggest mistake was putting my info the computer where these losers get a hold of some of your info. Always notice they say your last 4 digits of your SS# that's all they know except your address etc but they don't know your full ss# Don't trust these losers trust me there is nothing legal about them... I called the FCC on them and told them send the cops I'm here waiting and that was a month ago and I'm still at home or at work. They are losers and if enough people report them to the FCC they will leave you alone.. They think they can bully you on the phone what a joke... Also  call the 3 credit bureaus and red flag your credit so they can't hurt you!!!

Love the comments on here like telling people they are dead beats and to get a job and pay their bills. First off who are the real dead beats here? I know I know, it's the SOB's that try to scam hard working people out of their money. Hide behind your phones you COWARDS. No officer of the law would call you and tell you they are going to arrest you!!! I'm not sure how you kind of people go home at night and look at yourself in the mirror. The people that are behind this number are people that couldn't make it in the real collections world and pay a few bucks to low life pay day loan people for a persons info. Of course all but the full SS # because if the company gave out this info they would be shut down right away. If these people call you, file a claim with your state's attorney general and the FCC. Not only are these people's tactics illegal they are also violating federal communications laws and could possible be looked at as a form of terrorism. If everyone follows through with their claim this kind of crap will end. If the collection agency is legit they will send copies of the original debt, if not tell them to go fly a kite. Detective Dick really fits this guy!!!!!

Do NOT pay anything to these people it is a fraud, no person that you really owned $ to would talk to people the way this guy does...file a fraud complaint with your bank if they are like mine they will get your $ back...

Go to your bank immediately and tell them your a victim of fraud. File with your pd too.

Mr mike carter called my phone looking for my wife saying she's going to be processed and served for a "lack of communication!" with this we took out a loan for $204.00 and he said he could make the criminal charges go away for $750.00 what the hell is that?

It's called extortion.

Did I mention he said he was going to have her served at her job and that would result in her being fired! But shes a stay at home mom and I'm not going to fire her and I don't think my three year old would so how's that going to work out I wonder?
