- dd2009| 3 repliesYes it is Fingerhut. I had applied for credit and placed an order erlier today and I received a call from this number later in the afternoon. It's an automated call welcoming you and gives you their other phone numbers to call . It was very courteous and even asks if this is the "phone number for JOHN SMITH" ,for example. If you were truly called by accident you can simply press the corresponding # for them to take you off the list. But it's NOT a telemarketing call. If you didn't contact them, they won't be calling you. It's legit business number.
