Thanks Gary, you're right it was Fingerhut as I applied for a card yesterday. It would be a lot easier if they would put their name with the phone number.

This number is really from Fingerhut.  It is automated and just welcoming you to Fingerhut.  

I didn't apply for any card and they're calling me how did they get my number then?

Yup, just like all others here - welcome call from Fingerhut - but if you don't answer, they don't leave a message, and they robo-call you every 10 minutes until you DO answer.  Rather annoying.  Appreciate the call, but just leave the info and back away slowly, folks.......

thanks - didn't answer as it was unknown caller.  however, just placed my new order with fingerhut yesterday.  so grateful for this site.  thanks for the information!   😎
