I will be reporting this fake company to the FBI. They have been very good at capturing and stopping the scam artist I have come across lately. If you receive a fax from them they have been very clever at not having a return fax number listed anywhere on the fax. IT IS A SCAM. I'm sure by the time one of their paid people who are watching this site sees it, the numbers will be disconnected. Luckily when I called and spoke to Brian at ext 520 the line was traced by local authorities...guess they better pack their bags and head for the border.

Yes, I am one of the many dumb ones that fell for this scam!!  Now the dirt bags have my bank acct number (which I have notified the bank)!!  I have to go thru the headache of opening a new acct and switching everything over.  My bank will have their FRAUD team working on it the minute they see the activity come out of that account.  Hope these scum bags get what they deserve!!!  I will actually be laughing inside when they hit my account because they WILL be prosecuted!!!  I left just enough $ in the account for them to access, just so the bank can NAIL THEIR ASS TO THE WALL!!!!   So come on suckers.........go ahead......take that money!!  ITS YOUR ASS NOW!!

Really? It's a scam. OK. Please give us ANY facts to support this allegation. So you got a fax and this makes it a scam. Did you buy from them? Did you try to use their product? WE are an advertising agency which does advertising for this company. WE do not do the faxes, however, we have done business with them for over 5 years. So, you reported them to the FBI. For WHAT? Receiving a fax? Sure you did. I am sure the FBI is going to jump all over an ad campaign from a person who has nothing more to say than "I received a fax."

People are all entitled to their opinion. HOWEVER, it would be nice to have FACTS to support claims before someone, such as yourself, made comments like you have.

Your message was brought to my attention by one of the companies we do business with. We take our reputation seriously. OK. I take it you are a client. Provide us with your name, etc. Why did you not just cancel your order if you made one? Oh, prosecuted? Really? Go ahead and remember... we use a company which RECORDS you placing your order and authorizing any payment. WE, if indeed you bought from us, will be HAPPY to play that recording from you to them. Filing a false report with a governmental agency is a crime. So, please feel free to do so. IF you ARE a customer, and you don't want to purchase, simply call and cancel the order. IF NOT, which is suspect is the truth, then tell us what your complaint is. You bought something, Did you use it? Did you try? Obviously not since YOU HAVE NOT EVEN PAID FOR IT YET.

    Thanks for your patronage.

Wow! Must be nice to be able to just KNOW something without verifying any fact you wish to state. Question... did you every use the company? Answer: No. Did you have a bad experience with the company? Answer: No. So, in a answer to your questions:

-Faxes are sent by vendors. They scrub their lists but the process in NOT perfect. You don't want it, fine call and you won't get any more.
--Interesting you say we don't use our name as you called, it was given to you and your questions were, obviously, answered
--Hum, prior approval. Prior approval, you might want to find out exactly what that means. So, it is your statement you have never done any business with any affiliate of our several billion dollar parents? I find that HARD to believe

Any way, I would hope, like me, you have better things to do with your time other than wasting it over a .05 costing fax, but, what the heck, this IS America!

New company? Nope. Might be interesting if you explained that. WE were told by our marketing company of your comments online. They promote Romex. WE take comments seriously. ESPECIALLY unproven, false allegation with POSITIVELY NO PROOF OR FACTS TO SUPPORT A FALSE AND SLANDEROUS CLAIM.  I LOVE these type of websites. You know why? People such as yourself can take shots at ANYONE AND ANYTHING and hide behind total protection of NOT giving US your true name, address, telephone number. Want to do that so we can give it to OUR lawyers? Thought not.

    Have a nice day!

Robert wants you to let him steal your money before you call him a scammer!

That's not how this site works. This is where honest people warn each other about criminals like you, and you crooks try to trick the people here because we make it tough for you to trick them on the phone.

I am more than Happy to give you my name.  You'll see it very soon when you are served with court papers.  So AGAIN it will be nice to get your name, your real address,  your real phone number, you know what real means right? or is that just too difficult?  It is easy to check out a real company and you are not real.  You are surely not a real marketing company.
All you have to do is answer my questions and stop being so defensive.  This is starting to sound like organized crime.

Are you really asking if this scam?  of course its a scam... this is definitely scam.  Just do a little more checking.  These are scams that occur frequently.  If you are a victim call you police department and attorney general.  These people need to  be stoped.

Just answer the question replies to Rob
Rob... if you work for the company just answer the simple question online here.  Why is your company address false,  your information false, and so covert.  Who owns this company,  where is the actual address,  what is the real phone number (not a 888 or 800 number).  These are all simple questions.  Only a dirt bag scammer skirt the truth... just like you.

    Hi Mike
Can you please get you story straight. You say you work for an advertising agency  and you company uses Romax Travel. Then you say your company does marketing for Romax Travel.  What is it, or is it both.

    They hung up on me
Talked to "Adam."    Said they were Romex Travel, a travel agency.  I asked how they got my info and he said he didn't know--that was "Marketing" who had done that--someone "way above my pay grade."  I asked him whether there was someone in a higher pay grade who could give me that info and he hung up on me.

Anyone who faxes me gets one of these:   http://www.fcc.gov/complaints    It's troublesome, but i have googled my name and found it on FCC actions against the offending companies, so I keep doing it.
