I call this number back 888-499-5501 so I am using an anonymous call back and the people calling me can not ID me.
They hang up on me after one ring. These are people trying to steal your identity.
They probably stole info from your credit card and need some minor info to gain access of your bank account.
The banks claim they protect your identity but look at Target for example.
The US Government doesn't do anyone to protect the consumers.
Bad guys have 100 million credits card numbers, names, birth dates, address.
They just need a tiny bit more info and they will rob you.  

Received call.  Didn't answer. They left a message to call them back at 888-499-5501 and that they are a debt collector. They called on my skype number that I use for my business and no accounts that I work with has this number. I used to get many calls when I first got this number on the previous owner of this number regarding outstanding debts. Caller ID said "unknown number"

Does anyone have a firm corporate address for this company? I want to send them a registered return receipt letter so I have grounds to sue them (this has worked before).  They are calling me repeatedly asking for someone I don't know.  I've warned them to stop calling verbally, but they still do.  I know this is against federal law once they know that the number is wrong, but I will need to be able to prove that I informed them of this.  I need that address.  Thanks.

The recorded message said it was a debt collector.  It is apparently a spam phone call.
I never given away my home phone number so it is impossible anyone call this number for any business purpose.

This Mutha fker has been bothering me every day for the past two weeks. I turn my phone off at night because they are calling after 9pm and before 9am. The FTC is worthless. They are allowing these TERRORISTS to fk with people's private phone numbers in complete violation of any and ALL rules.

If I could, I'd send an electric shock through the phone that made the callers ear drums explode.

Our gov doesn't care about scammers. If they did, they would DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Don't bother filing a report with the FTC. All they do is announce your name/number/address to the criminals so they know who you are. Why would THAT stop them? Only thing that will is if the people running the FTC get the same shcit from these phone terrorists.

They called again.  I didn't answer.  See my previous post July 21. I have no debt issue.

This number has called me over 10 times in the past week and I only answered the first time! Nobody said anything and they have never left a voicemail! Tired of them calling!

The message on my answering machine said they were  a debt collector but when I called the recorded message said I had won a trip to the Bahamas.  I hung up.........

I've gotten 3 calls from this number today. I answered only one call, and there was no one there

i get calls from them 3 or 4 times a day everyday. this is getting on my nerves. they are pretty slick cuz this number and another number 888 348 3304 are from the same company. both numbers on my phone everyday. sometimes left messages. other times they hang up. i have no debts.

Calls but nobody answers. I am retired and don't owe money to anyone. Nephew set me up on call blocker now.

Got the call on my cell; did not answer, since I did not recognize the #; no message left.

if they don't stop calling, I will sue . Let that sink in , CBE [***].

Same here.  I just got a call from this number at 7:53 pm but did not answer because the number was not known to me at all.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize & I figure if they are legitimate callers they would leave a message.  If not, to heck with them.  1-888-499-5501, judging by all the comments, is not legitimate & they left no message.

Called about debt collection - wanted someone by a name I have never heard of.  Lady acted like she did not believe that I was not the person she was asking about.

CBE GROUP are abusive vultures. Better get rid of them soon!

Don't ever call a debt collector on a toll free number.
Best practice is to send them a stop and desist letter.

Calls cell repeatedly. Informed that person they called for no longer had number. Finally blocked them with a blocking app that allows me to file an FTC complaint. Am now in process of having them sued. Use this company : Lifetime Debt Solutions @ 312-380-6110. No charge and you might even get some reimbursement.
