Same call.  They gave me a case number in the voicemail and said someone needs to be home to receive the documents but did not say what it was about sounds like a super scam to me I am not calling back

Definitely a scam!!! The number that called me is (808) 320-5984, Lihue Kauai, but male caller left a voicemail and said to contact (888) 500-1423 immediately.

Funny thing is I have NO IDEA who the named person is that is mentioned in the voicemail.

This is Karl calling from US Document Services calling to notify me of legal documents being delivered to my house tomorrow. I need to call 888-500-1423 immediately. He gave a case number and said my call is being recorded and will be played in court as proof of non compliance. If I refuse the documents it will reported to court as non compliance on my part and I should expect delivery tomorrow. He called 3 times, each time from a different telephone number.

Same call… But it was for my boyfriend who has his own phone and has never been tied to mine…. Weird.

Same thing here with a different guys name Edward.  Complaint on a old boyfriend who was a con man many years ago...I freaked...he found me I was thinking then I saw these 800notes.  Scams, as they pick up numbers from old references and online.  I filed a report on the FBI site.  Please do the same.  Came from Minnesota number(507 area code)  but told me to call  the 888 number.

Claimed I had outstanding balance on chase credit card. Never had one w chase. Threatened court papers, immediately said we'll settle for $3k! Sent email confirmation of "settlement agreement. All a scam. Next dsy called again threatening when I didn't sign email back. Called AG office, Chase, better business bureau. Name given abs financial, John reiss, 800 500-1423.

Message is below. They claimed I had an outstanding Capital One card to which I said impossible. Then said CAP ONE assumed it from HSB, I said thats a lie. Then I said I just googled your company and it says you’re a scam and she went ballistic with threats. She had lots of info on me though…they even called a relatives house.

The guy didn't identify himself. He claims he is from a mediation company that he's collecting restitution from 2008 for a credit card I opened, which I never opened with that particular company. He refused to give me a case number for my account or a reference number. When I told him he was a scam and to stop calling he started getting belligerent with me and then hung up on me,

First call was from 386-367-7091, which sounded like a call center based in India, who informed me that my wife needed to call 888-500-1423 about legal document service. I tried calling back the 386 number, which rang, and when picked up, it was a recorded message stating that there were no agents available to assist me, and that I should call the 888 number. Sounds like [***] to me,

This call came from a Pennsylvania number 570-293-8761?
I am thinking they use a local to you area code, but I have a Pa number that I have had for over 20 years and no longer live in Pa.

Same here! Message to the letter.  But have 2 voice mails with 2 different reference number.  Total scam!!!! Also called my son and threatened to put him in jail !!! Still don't know how they got his number because the phone is in his friends name.

Did they show up?? Lol

The person with an Indian accent left a voicemail.
