- debtor replies to Anonym| 20 repliesJust return the call and pay your bill. They would not be calling if you did not owe them.
- DEBTOR replies to irritatedThey are legitimate. All you have to do is call. They are located in South Carolina!
- MY OPINION replies to Ben| 3 repliesI just really think that if you owe someone you need to pay the bill and stop blaming your bad spending habits on the economy and on this law firm.
Just pay your bad debts and no one will call you! They have a job to do just like you do! Stop taking your frustration out on them and everybody else and just pay your bills. Why would you get a credit card and you can't it? - JoshMy Opinion; First take your keyboard off of CAPS, its as annoying as your lecture. And second, we can not all be as wealthy and well off as you, <stuff> happens to everyone and YES, the economy can be to blame if people lose their jobs in which they MAKE money to pay their bills. Lastly, 'Why would you get a credit card and you can't it?' Take some of that money you have to pay your bills and take an evening english and typing class.
Harrassed; Sorry, This is not directoy assistance, next time they call you answer the phone and ask them for their address or simply use this tool we are now using, the internet, and look it up.- Call type: Debt collector
- RayReceived a call from an Amber from Overcash regarding a Tracy Sears. Amber, as she called herself, left a message wanting me to contact Ms. Sears for some reason that she (Amber) did not mention and wanting this Tracy to contact her. I don't know a Tracy Sears and I don't appreciate these type of calls. I wish to file a complaint against this 'so-called' law office.

- Chapped replies to debtor| 1 replyHey, Mr. Pay Your Bill, Did it ever occur to you that these scam artists might be calling the WRONG NUMBER? If you don't have anything helpful to add to those of us being harassed by collectors asking for PEOPLE WE DO NOT KNOW, stay off these boards!
- JBR replies to debtor| 1 replyMr. Pay your bill. I received a call from the "law" offices of Ed Overcash asking me to give my neighbor the message. They are a law office hired to do debt collections. A Ms. Bowers at extenion 149 left her call back number. My neighbor wasn't home but I left the message for him and also called her back and told her his debt is none of my concern Cease and Desist from calling me or I will prosecute.
- Single Mom replies to MY OPINION| 2 repliesHey My Opinion. Apparently you have lived a very "charmed" life and have never fallen on hard times. I had a credit card and always paid it off on time. Then my husband left me and my kids. I ended up by having to fall back on my credit card and eventually maxed it out. I only used it for neccesities....You know food and such which apparently you have never had to worry about. I then lost my home and my job. I went back to work and barely make enough to make ends meet. I DO want to pay my debts but these A** heads won't accept the payments I can afford. If they continue to threaten me and not take accept what I can afford, I WILL somehow find a real attorney to take my case and sue the pants off of them.
- frustrated| 1 replyHas anyone actually been sued by this law firm!

- Mad replies to kerry| 9 repliesAll I have to say to harrassing SOB's is read the Fair Debt Collection Act. It clearly states that debt collectors do not have the right to intemidate people in order to collect a debt. They do not have the right to pretend to serve court papers either. I have consulted with an attorney and I know that in SC you can not take anyone to court for a credit card debit. You bottom feeder, feed off of someone else!
- Munchkin replies to frustratedYes, I received papers yesterday for a civil suit. I have 30 days to respond.

- Ms Bowers @ Ed Overcash| 2 repliesShe's stupid and rude... she tries to intimade you for Capital One. It doesn't matter if you owe $250.00 or $3,000.00 that point is if you don't have money to pay a credit card these funds are non-collectible and she's trying to make it seem that they are going to sue you and they can't. You can go back to the credit card company and offer a settlement of 30% of the balance minus all the charges that they billed already. The negative credit will go on your credit report but you could also file a harrasment report with the Federal Trade Commission.
- Being sued replies to Mad| 1 replyYou make the claim that in SC you cannot be sued for credit card debt. I must say that I have to disagree because this company has served me papers for credit card debt...
Who can I talk to about this if this is the case. Please share your knowledge with me.
Thank you.
