Caller ID said DIRECTV MAIN NU, Typical scammers I don't have any DirecTV product, nor ever will, so they are obviously breaking the do not call law.

Thought from Dish since asked what channels I did not watch, and wanted to lower my bill each month.  This man sounded as though he was reading his conversation, and I mentioned this.  He laughed and said he was not.  Conversation, to me, started taking a wrong turn, and he hung up on me when telling him he had better leave as is.

This Indian/Asian accent speaker is a scammer! Please do not give him any information or God forbin your credit card information! Just call him out on the scam and hang up.

Scam! Don’t give into the “bundle” package discount if you pay 2 months in advance. They want your credit card information and you’ll never see your money again, nor the $150 Visa GIFT CARD they’re offering. I reported this guy to ATT and DirectTV. You should do the same!

Called THREE times in rapid succession. Did not answer. Left no messages.

Agreed with all of the others, except it was DirectTV, not Dish.  They wanted to reduce my monthly bill to $59 each month if I paid 3 months in advance.  They said they would give me a promotion code to use when I called DirectTV billing dept but as the call moved on they mentioned the words "sign up"  When I told them I would not sign up that I would call DirectTv back they hung up

Scam.  The caller said they were DirecTV/AT&T.  For being a valued customer, my bill would be lowered to $59.99 a month with every movie channel if I paid 5 months in advance.  I made him repeat this and he would not.  He did say about the passcode to give to the DirecTv rep I needed to call.  As I pushed him on details, he hung up.  Third call in two days.

Calls a lot and never leaves messages. On call back, turns out to be sales for Direct TV which I do not use. Probably a scam.

Two calls from this number in two days. Caller ID says Direct Trucking! The woman on the recorded call says she’s from AT&T and wants me to call them. I won’t.

this number hasn’t call in awhile...Used to be DTv customer service Offshore number years ago. Don’t thing this # is legit now since att took over DTv. Dtv still bad service anyway. 😩

Based on the information already posted and the fact that I don't have and have never had Dish or Direct TV, this seems to be a scam. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I am on Do Not Call so they obviously don't abide by that. Scam.

Direct TV scam.  I told the caller that I do not Direct TV he then hung up.

Answered phone call but muted mic.  No one said anything.  This kind of lack of identifying themselves is a usual indicator that this is a scam call.

Since the others state it is a scam representing DirectTV, I would have to defer to them.

As such, since the scam is a representation of DirectTV and we do not have DirectTV, this scam is phishing for DirectTV existing or prospective customers.

Anyway, thanks for the 800notes community notifying all of us of these criminals!!!

Calls my cell phone repeatedly. Leaves no message, ever.

Robocaller.  Wants you to respond before it connects to a rep.

Called my cell this afternoon. After saying hello, I heard the bloop-bloop of a call center, and someone with an Indian accent said hello. Strangely, he did not know what to do when I asked him if he spoke Spanish.

Got a call from this phony this afternoon. Offered  to lower my DIRECTV bill with discounts. Asked a few questions which he knew answers to and my birth date which he also knew, my alarms grew.  That's when I started pestering him with questions.  I asked him for the phone number of the department he was transferring me to and guess what? I got disconnected! I may have slipped up for these scams this time but it won't happen again.  No damage this time.
