Indian guy called saying he was from DirecTV services. I told him I don't have DirecTV & he insisted I did. Hung up on him.

Caller ID said "Direct TV". Caller wanted me to turn on my TV so he could help me restore some lost reception. I told him I did not have Direct TV and he then said it was Xfinity (which I do have). I told him if I loose reception I will contact Xfinity myself then I hung up.

I had a call that went to my spam box. Why in the world is this number still operating after 3 years of reports?

Just got a call from 888-531-5000 from an Indian speaking man saying I need to buy a $210 Best Buy gift card so I can have a lower bill for the next 2 years. I told him to take is call a shove it where the sun doesn't shine and he was not getting a penny from me...

Called cell. Left message

Received call today from this number with caller ID as Direct TV.  Person said they were calling from the billing dept offering existing customers a promotional deal for $69.99 a month for two years.  Viewing channels all stay the same. Only requirement is to pay 5 mo in advance by using an Amazon gift card for $350. Gave a call back number different than caller ID and to use a special code for the promotion.  Called Direct T V by using the billing number on our statement and was told this is a SCAM!
