I want to know who call

I received a call from some guy at 8:30 am eat this morning telling me their is a civil complaint against me. This is a scam. I was an Operations Manager for a collection company. They have violated the FDCPA by not disclosing the nature of the call and by calling my cell and by calling before 9:00am. I have a collection attorney in place to go after their ASS! They messed with the right one!

Same thing just happened to me. They called and have my social, got my prepaid cell phone number somehow, and said a civil complaint against me at 8:30 this morning. I also received the same calls today! It's regarding a debt from 2003-2004 that was taken care of. Ridiculous.

I got the same call on Friday. Telling me I had a civil implant against me as well . And they also said of I didn't pay anything then they would forward my stuff to the county I live in now . I never heard of that

You have to get sopnen to court by papers. Random people getting people's information off the internet somehow. I believe it's a scam. Haven't gotten a call back from any of those people.

got a call from this number twice need to file a complaint.false case against me. checked my county.no active cases on me.total scam. I also called back and asked for their location and was quickly hung up on. scammers get a job!!!april wells is also no in google.

Recived the call (private number)claiming a court case. Had my last 4. April Wells. ...haven't  recieved a call back.

I just got a voicemail from them to saying to contact April Wells, the weird thing was that they said they had a case number and it was regarding my ex husband from 15 years ago.

Just got the call. How do we stop this

Has anyone got any court papers? She wanted me to pay it over the phone . I wouldn't. Said she'd send court papers. some bill from 2009.

i got the same call in the beginning of the month....i brush it off  because like you i looked into this.... my account was from 2008 for a debt i never paid. i just received a summons yesterday....court hearing on april 7th guess well see what happens.

7:55am pst Sam called my family members cell phone, visual email, saying court papers to be served etc. This guy knew it was not my cell phone as he left a message with my mom weeks ago. April Wells never returned my call. This is a violation of FDCPA and FTCA!!!! Seems this is a debt buying company that is very ignorant!

They called me again today saying I have till Monday to call them or I will revive a summons to go to court and I had to have 2 forms of id . I'm like freaking out right now

Got a call from this number today said they were trying to reach my sister-n-law we don't even live in the same town.

I got a call on 3/28/2016 from a Madison stating I needed to call April Wells.  Provided me with a 888-531-6166.  Told me it was in regards to a judgement filed against me.  When this call came in I just so happen to be meeting with my Attorney & mention it to them.
I have called that number back numerous times to find out their angle, with no luck.  I am either placed on hold or if She, April Wells answer has an attitude when I asked for the name of the company & location.  She told me the name of the company is Mediation Firm of April Wells & then put me on hold when I asked for the address.  She never can back to the phone.  I called back & the phone just rung.  I decided to google her business along with checking the better business bureau.  No such company exists.
Beware this is a scam and I just so happen to be meeting with my Attorney again today.

I also had the same issues with these people calling me claiming I owed a debt from 8 years ago that I thought I'd paid. They even went as far as to threaten me with criminal charges if I didn't pay right away. I called my local police station who confirmed that there was nothing in the court system under my name and they told me that it was illegal for them to threaten these charges. April wells and Sam Roberts both told me I'd be subpoenaed on Monday so we'll see what happens! Anyone get subpoenaed after they were told they would be??

I'm curious if you received a summons on Monday like they said??

A legitimate  process server  will  NOT  tell you that they are coming!
