This number just called and did not leave a message?  Caller ID shows "Research House"?  Sure looks like a Telemarketer to me?

Why won't canada stop this crap? WE are all on no call lists.

Just got a call from this number..saying it was coming from Florida....I'm in Canada..on the DNC registry....but by calling with a US state I guess they can call no matter !!!

It called me as Research House (888-541-1097) and I had 3 missed calls already then it said 4 because I just let it ring and then it says new voicemail so I'm guessing they left a message but it's annoying with Canada's telemarketers changing the numbers to 403-somthing-somthing. But I'm curious to know what it is so I searched it.

I called the number back and got a message saying they were a public opinion pollster - probably doing surveys re: Alberta provinical election.

Call received.  Call display shows "Research House".

Got the "Research House" thing too. Voicemail consisted of a sigh so maybe they're getting frustrated at people ignoring their calls?

It was an automated poll on the federal and provincial government. Asking who we voted for etc .....no selling or credit card numbers asked for. I was happy to tell them what i thought of our government its legit
Took me about 4 minutes ...they give their name address and phone number. Research House from Ontario .

This number has shown up a few times in the last week and tonight when I answered it, It was Research House conducting an automated a poll of Canadian opinions in regards to the federal election. I would have been happy to participate but after the first few seemingly innocent questions it was clear that all they wanted was to pigeon hole me into saying I am a supporter of Rachel Notley and that I am an NDP supporter! No option to respond negatively if you don't like the possible responses there is no way to skip or say N/A. No wonder the polls say the NDP is rising....their polls are rigged to make it look like they are! Never voted NDP and NEVER will, no matter what their purchased poll results say!!!

This number started calling me every few seconds to minutes I kid you not from 5 until 5:20. All the messages it sent were a few seconds of silence and then nothing. I found this page and blocked it after seeing the words telemarketer.. I've never been called that much from a telemarketer like that before..

If they are doing market research they are exempt from Do Not Cal list restraints. The question you could ask them before answering (should you get to speak to a real person) is who are they working for. They could be collecting information for political parties for the purpose of suppressing your vote in the future, if you don't support that party should they ever get power. Too much information is collected on us now. We have a secret ballot so that no one can know how we vote in case they try to influence our vote through fear or oppression and that is the way we need to keep it. Don't answer political polls.

Me too!  Constant phone calls which I don't answer.
