Called today and did not leave any sort of message. I never answer any calls lomg distance unless they are in my contacts.

Hmm, only one report here... from 2012!
Just called my land line in southern Ontario. I didn't answer, no message was left. I didn't bother calling the number back.
Also there's a 50/50 chance it's a faked phone number, not the one they're calling from.

I also received a call from this number about an hour ago. Was on my cell though and I also did not pickup. No message left and I did not try to call back.

This number came up as 'Research House' on my caller ID. I didn't answer though. No message left.

I just received a call from this number, but I did not answer it. I then dialed it back and got a recording for "Research House". The recording said that they called because they were conducting a survey and if you wanted your number removed from their "Internal Call List" to press "2".

Research House is a legitimate Toronto Ontario business that does consumer surveys, focus groups and product testing (recruiting subscribed people who get PAID to do this). They ordinarily call from a 416 exchange so this number is odd...
They called without leaving a message which too is unusual for them.
