They left the same message as reported by above caller on someone elses voicemail at my work--I called back and LM to not call my work number and they called again today and I talked to them and advised to not call me at work and he was not listening and said I would be served at work and advised not to call me at my work number and to call at my personal number and gave number and of course they did not call-- I have been served before the proper way and this is not it--believe this is a collections company not going about the legal way but they do not identify themselves either.

They refuse to identify who they are with or anything.  Clearly a collection agency trying to scare people into calling them and giving them info.   Highly illegal what they are doing.

Called asking for Guy Leon Brooks/ Michael Brooks. Stated he put my husband down for a job reference and he is a relative. I stated he is not known to us. My husband received a recorded message with a threat to Michael Brooks, our home phone was then called and the same threatening message was left. We don’t know this person and have no outstanding debts of our own. They stated in the message Property 24. 916 Hains Road N E
Stated the documents they hold will be Stripping.

Why don't you give us road directions to the alleged debtor's address and the paint color of his house while you're at it? I'm sure he really (not much) appreciates your blabbing on an open complaint website about either his real or invented financial problems. You could easily have drafted your comment to reflect the bad skip trace without helping the dirty debt collector to embarrass him into paying some bogus account. I'm asking Admin to make redactions.

} the documents they hold will be Stripping
They mean to send a stripper-gram as an impostor process server? Dang, I guess that's one way to get paid. Does the girl take a check or loose bills tucked into her garments?

What if it's a guy? Guys do stripper-grams too. Or at least I would hope so since I'm not interested in a woman stripper.  :-D

You're right, I've made an error of omission. Certainly a man can shake his junk as part of a junk debt shakedown. CRANK IT!

Number called my friend in a completely different state and told him to tell me to call this number.  I called back and some guy picks up and says "Hello this is the administrator".  I said who? He stated again that he was the administrator and put me on hold.  I hung up.  Called back from my work phone and he answered again.  Wanted my reference number and I told him to hold on. I told him some bogus numbers and he told me to hold on and I hung up again.

Hello this message is intended for my namer
Property address is xxxxxxxxxxxc We have documents being issued out to the clerk's office please contact 1-888-541-3895. When calling you may use reference file number file. If there is no return call the home address and place of employment will be deemed verified and the document will be issued directly.

I called back and would not verify my name or ssn. He had my whole social and birthday and claimed to be from a legal processing agency. When I told him i would not verify he told me he would not speak to me. So I hung up. Calling everyday now.

This is a SCAM. Remember, if you were being “served” papers from a courthouse etc., they would never notify you. Process servers would find you and serve you in person with no notice or warning.
