Unwanted junk faxes from Strategic Capital

Received a fax from a unidentified number about profitable company in the middle of china's enourmous growth.  I inadvertantly called their removal line but I see from the posts on this it will not work.  they are wasting MY Paper, ink and time.

Received the same fax, got the same "no longer in service" message.  Have tried doing a web search regarding Strategic Capital, but it's such a generic name (and probably an alias, anyway).

China Economic Information by Strategic Capital sends junk emails and the removal number 1-888-541-4705 is not available to remove fax numbers.

Amazingly I get calls in the middle of the night.
Finally I called 888-541-4705.
The answering machine said it'll remove my number from its fax distribution list.
We'll see about that!

Several calls over the past few weeks, some in the wee hours; I have no fax machine. Finally set up my computer and got one. The 4705 number is not where they come from, it is the "opt out" number.  There is a web site for a Strategic Capital and they not only deny responsibility but give advice on what to do (notify FCC). I did that.  Just today received another junk fax with  another opt-out number 1-888-664-9172.  Given the info on the FTC site (Google "Toll Free Telephone Number Scams") I did not call either number.

Gad! while typing this I received another junk fax, this time for health insurance!

GUPR.OB junk FAX allegedly from Strategic Capital.  Somebody has been war-dialing my landline phones for two weeks now at all hours of the day and night.  It's getting ridiculous.
