I received a call today, from 7026374100 and her name was Martha Palin. She sounded like the call was real urgent and out of breath,but I dont know anyone from the number so I pretended that it wasnt me. She stated that I needed to call right away. I said is it life threatning? And she said no and got upset. I said what is the call back number and she provided 888-550-3088. I asked where she was calling from and the nature of the call and she said that she couldnt provide it because it was a legal matter. I knew then that I didnt have any legal matters so I googled the numbers. I'm glad I did because all of this information was helpful. I hope that everyone continue to have doubts and do the research first.

how do i get them to stop calling my office????  my receptionist keeps getting the message saying check fraud and my name and ss# and it is not only annoying but embarassing, even though it is a scam and not something I did.  I need them to stop calling here!

i keep getting calls and letters from this 888-550-6317 demanding money i wonder how long will they keep this up they should know that people are aware that this is a scam i wish tjey would stop

our phone calls they said we owe from cash net. and they throw out some kind of threat everytime they call. cops are on the way, fbi is looking at us for fraudlent check writing,  5-10 years in prision. but not once have I receiver any letters with a company letter head, or certified notices from legit lawyers.  I knew it was a Scam. thanks for validating my thoughts :)

i got a call from these people today. i was at work it was a recorded system call claiming check fraud but all the information they had on me was incorrect. they couldnt give me any information that i had requested when i asked for an address the man refused- he said he couldnt tell me how much i had borrowed from a payday loan company or who the compnay was but i owed over $1600. i asked when he stated it was from back in oct 2006-but thats all the information he could or would give. he said he would send me information via email when i asked for additional information but he has yet to repond.

I called my local pd last night and filed a complaint against this company. it really shocked me that they had some of the info on me they had but refused to give me an address for their company and never emailed me documentation they said they could email within 30 sec. this is so scary. i even called my bank just as a precaution per the officer so you may want to as well. he also suggested I file a complaint w the attorney generals office and that is also on my agenda for today. i can't believe people can get away with this.

Message: "A bad check has been linked to your Social Security Number and Drivers License".

what i want to know is why is that when people create debt they feel as if they dont have to pay it and when u recieve a call in refrence to your debt you say its a scam are you forgetting that you took out a loan and didn't pay ot back but your claiming somebody esle is a scam its people like this that has america in bad shape.

Please call them directly and ask for them to cease and desist.  It took me a while to track these folks down.  I plan on suing them for breaking the U.S. laws.  $1,500 per call.

I too received a rather menacing message from Jim Loughton who had a severe case of the mumbles when leaving the place's name that he was calling from.  Said I had a fradulent check and his law firm had been retained to get the money.  He needed the money asap or else drastic measures would be taken and also, this was a checking account associated with the last four numbers of my ss# which he had and was correct.  I knew it was fake, because A. I stopped writing checks about 2006 and have all my payments setup through my bank and I pay everything else through other means.  Also I KNOW that no one who had a bounced check of mine would have my Social Security number.  It just bites that they know even that much about me.

I checked with the BBB and they are not a real company. The BBB said they could not find any info on them.

I got a call from these people and he said that he was with Ciunty Check Services. That I had wrote a check with Check Cashers and if I didn't pay 957.37 today I would have my local PD department at my place of work or at me home. i could get up to 5-10 years. He also used my madien name when he called me. He told me my address and last four of my ss#. I got scared and before checking into this I gave him a payment for 57.37 from my account. What should I do? I don't remember not paying back my Loan to Check Cashers. this was like 9 years ago that i had took out the loan. If this company is not a real comapny then how do they get all the info as far as my adress and last four digits of my SS#?

Caller ID said 704 315 6831. Robocall saying this was a check fraud investigator and a fraudulent check has been connected to SSN & driver's license. Don't know who it was aimed at as the recording was partway through when I got the call.

SCAM.

I feel stupid now cause they called my work asking for my wife.  I had to try and settle this quick with all the talk of her going to be charged with Larson.  With our financial problems seemed like the best to do.  Talked to my wife and had her upset and now I read all these other people on here.  Well looks like I have to do on reporting this and having my bank cancel these arrangements.

Obviously people don't know what they're doing and does this have to be a scam.

money.  I hope they find people are put a stop to it.
