It's Chase Bank's Auto Financing Department.  I don't even have an account!

It is the finance department for Ford through Chase.

Subaru financing dept wanting to verify my information starting with the last four digits of my SS#, I said no thanks.

Chase capitol that represents Mazda and other car loans, calling to verify a loan request. They should post their phone number so if you look them up, the number is clearly associated with them.

Chase auto loan dept. We bought a new vehicle through a GM dealer, and apparently Chase is the lender. We didn't originally answer, but we called back and other than name and last 4 of SSN they supplied the rest of the information.

They were just calling to verify everything, and insure it was accurate. It appears to be fully legit.

Chase Financing for Subaru.  Similar to others, besides zip code and last four of social they had the rest of my information and were able to provide me the loan number to add to my Chase online account.

Had a message to call Subaru Finance through Chase. Since I just bought a car from Subaru I thought I call back to see what this was in regards to. Person on the other line wanted to confirm information including last 4 digits of SS.  I got weary, did not want to give out info without knowing it was legit.  When the person asked me where I purchased the car, I asked if he could tell me, since he probably had the info infront of him.  I told him I did not want to give him info without knowing he wasn't scamming me.  He was not willing to give me anything...he told me he would send me a letter instead.  I will see if I get the letter or not.

Shady sounding dude left me a message. I just bought a subaru. I sure as hell won't be verifying any info over the phone.

Received this call today, purchased a subaru in december 2014, it was chase calling to confirm I purchased the car. Didn't ask for social security and the gentleman on the other line told me how much i put down on the car as well as what we finances and where we lived so seemed legit.

Totally legit. Chase auto financing calling to verify the information on my auto loan, which they then provided to me to confirm.

Caller is persistent.  Have not answered any of the calls.  If it is Chase, I do not have a loan or any loan with Chase.  I think they may be trying to solicit me into something.  Not going to answer and I wish that they just go away.  I plan to block the number if it continues.

Seems legit.  It seemed shady at first because they called and left a message asking me to call back but they asked me to verify that I had applied for a loan through Subaru Finance.  They asked me to confirm my name, zip code(nothing that you couldn't have googled or picked up from junk mail) and dealership that I applied through and no additional sensitive information.  Then they went through to confirm all of my information was correct.

The information they provided for me to verify Included Name, Address, Monthly income that was recorded on my loan application, my employment information, the Car Make and Model, my amount financed and amount of my down payment, my monthly payment amount.  Once I confirmed everything, she thanked me and told me that I should start seeing the new car in my online chase profile.

Oh and I did forget to mention that none of that information I provided.  They told me my financed amount and down payment amount and everything was good to go.
