I received the same e-mail on 4/19/10. I sent it to my attorney, hes good I beleive that he can handle it, especiall when this is his speciality. Everybody gets the same e-mail from them just signed by a difference person. WTF.

.....and then I woke up and realized it was all a dream! You can not be jailed for consumer debt in the United States. The worst thing that could happen is a civil law suit and a possible judgment. There are no debtor's prisons in the US.

I too just received a fake warrant for my arrest for writing a fake check to a payday loan outfit.  Mr. Paul Martinez, I have on paper that he claims to be an attorney in FL.  Well I looked up the Florida State Bar Assoc., and guess what.  He is not an attorney.  I e-mailed him back and asked for his street address so I can file a complaint on him.  I also told him that my son uses my e-mail and when he saw the warrant for my arrest, he had a seizure.  I had to rush him to the hospital and he is now admitted.  I don't have health insurance and the earliest he will be released will be Friday.  I e-mailed Martinez again, telling him that I am counter suing him for the payment for the hospital stay and for this undue stress and harassment.  I also again, asked him for his street address.  And that I was going to report him to the State Board for impersonating as an attorney.  Well he had Lisa Lopez e-mail.  She gave me copies that I can not read.  I asked her if she was an attorney and she replied no.  I told her I needed copies that I can read.  This is her response to me  :DO NOT DEMAND NOTHING ELSE FROM ME! YOU OWE MONEY AND WE ARE GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY, THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY. WHY DON´T YOU SHOW THE ATTORNEY THE BAD CHECK THAT YOU PROVIDED TO MY CLIENT, CRIMINAL?    Yes, all in caps.  Is there a class action suit out there?  Enough is enough.

"You have our P.O. Box address. It is the only one you will get. If you are not satisfy, tell it to the judge on your court date. All I need from you are $400 that you owe to my client. PAY IT! "

"ha-ha you are pathetic,! Did you see your ugly face on the validation of debt? Or your signature? I DID! and you are going down, CRIMINAL! Stop hiding behind that crap! PAY THE MONEY! "

Is this legal?  I don't think so.

Found the location for these hoods' P.O. Box 503 .  POBox 02-5635 does not exist.  So I used POBox 503, which is also under disguise on their letterhead, and e-mails.  Here it is

Yes they just sent 5 pages of paperwork to my job telling them that this was going to turn into a criminial matter,and if they're harboring a felon that they would also be going to Jail.MY JOB!!!  I know that they have been violating all the rules,they have told everyone that they have spoken to my buisness. in most states you have your day in court these people are website phishers and the company ..they got you info by capturing it illegally if you where arested sue the police dept as well as your  state for letting a scammer have you arrested please don't waste time on lies..

These people have called my mom's house and spoke to my mother and her boyfriend, but they have never spoke to me that I can remember. After reading this I can't wait til they call my cellphone again! I'm going to answer it this time and really give them a piece of my mind!!!

For everyone's info as I haven't seen it yet posted here, Garcia called my mom's house and told her that he is in Mexico and the same laws here don't apply to them as far as harrassment. But what my mom wasn't realizing is it's a two way street. If he is in Mexico then he is not licensed to collect ANY DEBT FROM YOU. However he probably could still keep calling because he's calling from another country, but he can NOT LEGALLY COLLECT A DEBT FROM YOU! I read this a year ago that any debt collector and even check cashing agency must be licensed in your state to be able to loan money and collect it from you. He's not even in our country so ofcourse these dumba**es aren't licensed! Tell them to eF off and die!!!! The reason companies must be licensed is because then they ARE BOUND by the harrassment laws of the US. These guys aren't but they also aren't even licensed to collect it. They are calling and harrassing people until they get tired of it and pay them. DO NOT PAY A DIME!! A PENNY!! To these idiots. They may keep calling. Be bigger than that. I know they can kiss my freakin *** :)

I told my mom not to even threaten an attorney cause it's not going to work on these idiots. You're probably just going to have to take it. Think if someone called you from Australia or Japan and was harassing you? What could you do? What is the FBI gonna do? Not a freakin thing! I know it sucks but there seriously isn't anything you can do about these people. They are in a different country and will do anything they can to elude your attorneys. Just deal with it. Tell them you don't care what they have to say. I know I can't do anything to make them quit calling but they are wasting their time. Garcia told my mom people hire them to get the job done. Luckily I'm smart enough to know that not dealing with harassment laws of US means he isn't licensed to collect from us anyways.

Change your phone number if it keeps getting out of hand and make it private as numbers are very easy to find using the internet. People can do reverse address searches and get your new number if it's not private. Using a cellphone also helps. Hopefully due to the fact that you took out a loan it won't cause your friends and family grief too. The only thing to do on our end is make sure people don't deal with these jerks.

Got a call from Johnny Perez at 888-579-8904.   Called security and was told NEVER send  money to these type of people.   They will keep the money for themselves and you will continue to get these calls.   SCAM!!!

Listen i paid this Man if you want to say he is. And he is calling saying i didn't i have documents from my bank and he admitted it on a email he sent to the bank and he said that his bank is going to send it back to me. I really need help he is calling my parents and they are stroke patients, along with everyone else i just lost my best friend because  of him. He told me my friend say i was a con artist and until today i thought this guy was legit Help someone please i have no money i am social security and it isn't much i had to borrow from a payday loan place and i thought i was done paying them. i changed banks so they were trying to get money out of a bank that i didn't have anymore Please someone help.

i did pay them what a f head i am but i want to f them soo bad i am calling my bank and letting them see all this on their google and have them put fraud charges against them i 1st did do it cause i didn't recignize the company . but them called me back i thought they were real so i let them have the money but they are now saying they didn't get it but i have proof that they did get it.Right to their merchant and then he said that the merchant was going to send it back and it was going to appear in my account in 20 days and i must now pay more money... well he just called again i said to him hey guess what you fake. you don't know what and whom you have f'd with now!!! I received a call from this number a couple of days ago.  The dumb bi*ch that left her number said her name was Linda/Lisa Lopez and told me to dial extension 107.  When I called the number, she started asking me if I was related to a friend, whose information they had.  Then she accused me of sharing a joint account with her, which was completely BOGUS...  I told her that I had already been warned by my friend about this, and that wasn't offering any information.  She told me that my account would be "hit" if I didn't cooperate with her, and hung up on me.  When I called back, a guy answered... I told him to tell "Linda/Lisa whatever the f**k her name is that she's not hitting sh*t and that she could go to hell" and hung up.  Then I called again and asked to speak to her supervisor.  She told me he wasn't there and to call back and hung up on me again. Then I called back on three-way with the friend they accused of fraud on the line and pushed "4" to "make a payment". When I did, the same stupid chick answered.... (I thought she was supposed to be at extension 107... *scratching head*)  Anyway... I preceded to pretend I was someone else, and asked for the address to send my payment... she told me I was lying.  So I called her out and said "What Lisa? Picking up every extension are you?" She said "I knew you were lying".  I cursed her out and couldn't believe she was taking it for as long as I was dishing it (about 4 or 5 minutes).  Then she told me she sent me a fax with my face on it... (um... to what number?) I told her to get a real job... she went back and forth with me, and still never gave me any info.  I guess she really wanted to get paid... I know if I was expecting a check, I would give the address in a heartbeat!

I too am being harassed by these people. I asked for proof of the debt which of course I did not get but then they proceeded to call my family and friends and also my job.  I just processed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau but from what the other posts said I hope this helps. Are these people for real? I worked in collections for years and these people are not following any of the laws. They need to be arrested for some or all of the stupid threats that they make.We really need someone to make a class action suit against them and also take this to the news and get thieves or crooks like this prosecuted.

I take it no one knows if these people are not but the majority feel just as I do that this is a scam.

No proof of debt, no paperwork, I say no money.

I have opened up a complaint for this company with the Better Business Bureau online.

Please join me and put a stop to these people they are really a pain. They keep sending me emails but will not send me what I ask for the documentation showing me who they are and proof of who I owe or supposedly owe. They are calling my job still, my family and friends. I wish that they were in town so that I could make a visit and get all of this straightened out one way or another.

It seems like something could be done b/c they have a post office address. You have to have i.d. to get a freakin post office box so don't tell me they can't find out who rented the box- that's BS. These people are scam artists! Furthermore, I recently found it is it illegal for them to even loan money online to many states so how the h-e-l-l they gonna get someone for fraud? In most states you can't even be arrested for failure to pay debts- only sued- and of course they can't do that because THEY committed the fraud by loaning people money on the internet illegally. DUH.
